Time To Finish What You’ve Started: ‘The World’s End’ First Trailer

Last night MSN premiered the first trailer for the upcoming summer comedy, The World’s End. It’s the first movie rirector Edgar Wright has helmed since 2010′s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Returning are frequent collaborators Simon Pegg (who co-wrote the movie), Nick Frost, and Martin Freeman.

It’s the final movie in what they’ve described as the “Three Flavours Cornetto’s Trilogy,” following 2004′s Shaun of the Dead and 2007′s Hot Fuzz. The World’s End follows several old friends as they attempt a long pub-crawl.

Star Trek 2 villain is NOT Khan

In an interview with The Telegraph, Simon Pegg has squashed rumors that Sherlock star and Tumblr favorite Benedict Cumberbatch would be playing Khan in the upcoming Star Trek sequel.

“It’s not Khan. That’s a myth. Everyone’s saying it is, but it’s not. I think people just want to have a scoop.”

Keep in mind, this is coming from the same actor who also stated he wasn’t going to be in Mission: Impossible III.

MOVIE TRAILER: A Fantastic Fear of Everything (Simon Pegg)

A children’s author attempts to overcome his fears and break into adult literature this Summer in Chris Hopewell and British rocker Crispian Mills’ A Fantastic Fear of Everything.

Starring Simon Pegg (Sean Of The Dead, Paul), A Fantastic Fear Of Everything” looks to be every bit as quirky as the above description would lead one to believe. The full plot, according to IMDB, is as follows:

Jack is a children’s author turned crime novelist whose detailed research into the lives of Victorian serial killers has turned him into a paranoid wreck, persecuted by the irrational fear

MOVIE REVIEW: Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

Film: Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol
Starring: Tom Cruise
Directed by: Brad Bird

Some say the third time is a charm, but Director Brad Bird has made a hell of a case for it actually being the fourth attempt that gets it right. Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” or as most will refer to it, “Mission Impossible 4,” takes an already energetic franchise (literally) to new heights, packing enough slick visuals and big bangs to overshadow a weak script and all notions of rationality just in time for the holidays.

Simon Pegg Denies “Hot Fuzz 2″ Rumors, Expresses No Interest In The Project

Earlier today, ComingSoon started a fuss online by reporting exclusive news that Nick Frost had revealed work on Hot Fuzz 2 was underway. As it turns out, this is not the case.

Shortly after the ComingSoon article went live, Hot Fuzz star Simon Pegg took to Twitter with the post “Hola Madrid! Seems to be some conjecture about there being a Hot Fuzz 2 in prod. I can confirm this untrue.”

Pegg followed this tweet moments later with a post that nearly nails the coffin shut on the idea of HF2 altogether, commenting “Also, I don’t want to make Hot …

Simon Pegg teases “Paul” sequel

Few news stories can make me squeal with fanboy joy. This is one of them.

In a recent interview with Collider, actor Simon Pegg commented on the possibility of a sequel to this year’s comedy hit, Paul, which starred Pegg and his longtime co-star Nick Frost.

“Nick and I have this idea that we had out on the way to Area 51 that was really funny. It would cost an absolute fucking fortune,” said Pegg in the interview.

The film grossed just under $100mil (pennies in today’s box office), but made a considerable fortune for the studio because …
