It appears Limp Bizkit has found yet another way to stay relavent by hopping on the Cash Money Records bandwagon. In a radio interview with Kiss FM, Young Money Entertainment Founder Lil Wayne confirmed the signing, hinting that R&B singer Ashanti might be the next name on the YMCMB roster. For those who are still unaware, Misser is the side project of Transit vocal/guitarist Tim Landers and This Time Next Year vocal/guitarist Brad Wiseman. The duo released an EP in 2011 called Problems. Problems. Problems. (on iTunes) which received positive reviews.
Today it was announced that the band was officially signed by Rise Records and has plans to release a full length album this year. Things are moving right along for Anberlin side-project, Anchor and Braille. Singer Stephen Christian conveyed via Twitter today that recording a new record was underway and that the project had been signed to a label. Recording will occur in Nashville, TN.
The new album will feature a few musicians playing different instruments. John Bucklew (States, Copeland) will appear playing drums and Micah Tawlks, with whom he co-wrote several A&B songs, on guitar. It appears that Aaron March (Copeland) is not involved in the production of this record.

Rise Records has announced the signing of The Early November. The group is currently The Living Room Studio in Hammonton, NJ, with a release tentatively slated for this Spring.
News of the signing comes only a few weeks after The Early November announced a series of what most believed to be reunion shows along the East Coast. When news of the shows went public, there was no hints of a signing or new album.

Victory Records broke their recent habit of signing skull-rattling heavy bands and announced today that indie pop rockers The Royalty have officially joined the roster.

After months of rumors, Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover) has officially signed with Glassnote Records. According to Glover, he finally settled on the label that is also home to Mumford & Sons because he wanted an “indie push” for this forthcoming album Camp.
