Lights Announces Summer UK Tour

Lights has announced her United Kingdom touring schedule for July and UTG has the itinerary right here.

This short run will span from July 1 through July 6 so be sure to grab tickets for these events while they are available. Lights is touring in support of her latest album Siberia, which was recently certified Gold in Canada.

MUSIC VIDEO: Lights – Banner

Canada’s own Lights has unveiled her brand new music video for the single “Banner” and can be viewed right here on Under The Gun. This song comes off of the artist’s latest effort, Siberia, through Last Gang Records Inc. The video is honestly nothing special, just a bunch a hobos waving around flares in the desert.

LIGHTS Post a ‘Making of Siberia’ Video

LIGHTS brought her fans a video of her recording “Flux And Flow.” The song comes off her recent release, Siberia and it is her favorite song off the album. The album is available on iTunes.

In the video, LIGHTS lets fans see her record and gives the little details that she focuses on while in the studio. You can also hear the raw sounds of the song.

Lights, aka Lights Valerie Poxleitner, is almost impossibly adorable. I don’t mean that to sound condescending, and I really hope it doesn’t, but she has in her exquisitely realised electro-synth-indie-pop perfected a kind of precocious girly sweetness that still retains universal appeal. Siberia is her second studio album, a work filled with warmth and atmosphere, which is easily accessible both for long time fans and newcomers to her material.
