Bring Me The Horizon To Play Wembley Arena This Year

When it comes to indoor concert venues, it doesn’t get much bigger than Wembley Arena (literally, and figuratively speaking). In its 80 year history it has hosted some of the biggest artists in the world. The list includes The Beatles, The Who, David Bowie and many more. It would undoubtedly be a huge honor to have the opportunity to play at such an iconic venue – and that’s exactly what Bring Me The Horizon will be doing.

The band announced early this morning that they will perform at Wembley Arena December 5. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale this Wednesday …

UTG PHOTOS: Twenty One Pilots, Robert DeLong & Sirah (10/24/13)

Under The Gun’s photographer, Tori Thomas, attended the Twenty One Pilots show featuring Robert DeLong and Sirah at The Intersection in Grand Rapids, MI on October 24, 2013.

When I arrived to The Intersection, I could tell that this was going to be one of the best shows I’ve seen. I had the chance to interview Sirah (check back here tomorrow) before the show and got an idea where her music comes from; she’s down to earth and you could tell during her performance. During one song, she had a security guard support her on the barricade to be closer …

UTG PHOTOS: Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, & Twenty One Pilots (9/14/13)

Under The Gun sent photographers Corbin Alvae and Tori Thomas to The Palace on September 14 in Auburn Hills, MI.

This tour had an absolutely fabulous line-up on an amazing and memorable sunny day in Michigan! Shocker, since I, Corbin, usually always get stuck in the rain for events as you may have seen in any of my previous sets. Anyway, Tori and I were extremely excited to team up together to capture some photographic memories of this tour filled with acts we both grew up listening to and one newer act who is fantastic! So let’s get to how …

A$AP Rocky

A$AP Rocky Concert Ends Quickly After Someone Steals His Hat

According to HipHop DX and a fan with video proof, A$AP Rocky ended his show yesterday in Germany rather quickly after someone stole his Supreme hat. The A$AP Mob and Rocky were performing the A$AP Ferg track, “Work (Remix),” when apparently someone snatched the hat off his head while engaging with fans.

At around 0:51, A$AP Rocky cut the music and went on to say, “I came to party with y’all. Who took my shit, man? Give me my hat so I can go. That’s a one-of-a-kind hat. Don’t try and creep to the back. Who got my …

Twenty One Pilots

UTG PHOTOS: Twenty One Pilots & New Politics (4/26/13)

Under The Gun’s photographer, Tori Thomas attended the Twenty One Pilots show featuring New Politics and Five Knives at the LC Pavilion in Columbus, OH on April 26, 2013.

I arrived to this show expecting nothing but surprises, especially with this being a hometown show for Twenty One Pilots. First in the lineup was Five Knives, however I was unable to make it in time to see their set. Judging from a previous show I saw them at opening for TOP, I’m sure they set the mood for the evening with a flawless performance.

Next up was New Politics

Lauryn Hill 2013

Lauryn Hill Is Doing A Show In Brooklyn, Then Going To Jail

Lauryn Hill has some strange career moves. The singer deliberately signed to Sony and released a single in an effort to make money to pay off debt and stay out of jail. She paid it off, but she is going to jail anyway.

Hill is slated to go to prison on July 8, so what is she doing with her final month? Doing one live show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York. Tickets went on sale today; they are available here for a hefty price. According to her Twitter, the reason she’s doing a …

UTG PHOTOS: Twenty One Pilots (4/6/13)

Under The Gun’s photographer, Tori Thomas attended the Twenty One Pilots show featuring Five Knives & Kaleido at The Crofoot in Pontiac, MI on April 6, 2013.

I had the pleasure to attend the MTV Artists to Watch tour featuring Twenty One Pilots, Five Knives and Kaleido. The show started with Detroit natives, Kaleido, a pop rock group. Christina, singer, brought energy to the crowd and got everyone amped for the show. This band was definitely a ball of energy, which was great in their case. Next up was Five Knives, an electronic pop group with a different …

UTG PHOTOS: GRiZ & Break Science (4/4/13)

Under The Gun’s photographer, Tori Thomas worked Turn Up The Good at Ferris State University and grabbed some photos of GRiZ, Break Science, The Floozies, and TerniduP on April 4, 2013.

I worked Turn Up The Good at Ferris State University on April 4th. TUG was started in 2011 and has been an annual show every spring ever since. I was lucky enough to work on the E-board and photograph the event! TerniduP started off the night; they are the DJ winners from the TUG Contest and they started the night off right! Next up was Kansas natives, The Floozies

Shai Hulud

Shai Hulud’s First Show With Chad Gilbert; 1996 Footage Surfaces

Remember when Under The Gun Review posted up the old Rage Against The Machine full sets from the early nineties? Well, we are back today with more legendary performances from the decade’s powerhouse Shai Hulud.

Shai Hulud footage from their July 18, 1996 at Cheers in Miami, Florida has surfaced. What makes this performance so enormous is that this was Chad Gilbert’s very first show on vocals at the young age of 15.

Watch their rendition of “For The World” after the jump and comment with your thoughts. Band lineup: Matt Fox – guitar, Oliver Chapoy – guitar, Dave …
