When it was released, Bait quickly became the talk of horror forums and conventions worldwide. What’s not to love about a shark trapped in a grocery store, right? No one thought a sequel was necessarily needed, but when word broke in February about a second film that would focus on a shark loose in a California private school, we were fully on board. In a turn of unusual events, Universal has announced they are currently developing a Pitch Perfect sequel tentatively planned for a 2015 release.

Released back in 2012, the theatrical debut of Pitch Perfect was far from what you would call an opening weekend deserving of praise. FACEPALM: Paramount Begins Planning ‘Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters 2′

Never underestimate a major motion picture studio’s love for cashing in on even the smallest good news and beating it until it’s deader than Seabiscuit.

Having just barely crossed the $200 million mark at the the international box office, Paramount Pictures has announced it is moving forward with plans to create a sequel to Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. The movie, directed by Tommy Wirkola, cost around $50m to make, which is seemingly the only reasoning that Paramount needs to move forward.

People have been discussing the possibility of a third Night At The Museum film since the 2009 release of Night At The Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, and as of today it is officially a reality.

Twentieth Century Fox’s Night at the Museum 3 has been scheduled to hit theaters on December 25, 2014. Shawn Levy will return to the franchise as director with Ben Stiller reprising his role as museum security guard Larry Daley.

‘ANCHORMAN’ SEQUEL FINALLY GETS A RELEASE DATE

The release date bringing back San Diego’s Channel 4 News Team in Anchorman: The Legend Continues has been set for December 20, 2013.

Will Ferrell will be returning to his role as Ron Burgundy along with Steve Carrell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner after the eight years since the original Anchorman delighted us all in 2004.

According to DigitalSpy.com, Vince Vaughn and Christina Applegate may reappear in the feature as well, and Bridesmaids star Kristin Wiig is rumored to be joining the cast as Brick Tamland’s (Steve Carrell) love interest.
