Rocky Loves Emily Already Working On New Record

Rocky Loves Emily just came out with Secrets Don’t Make Friends in 2012, and have already begun to work on their follow up album. In the middle of an emotional post, vocalist Brandon Ellis said on Facebook “We are writing a new record… We are writing, and we are excited, inspired by YOUR stories.”

Overall, the band’s post seems to indicate a bigger change coming, be it in sound or lyrical meaning. He seems inspired in a way that he was not before, apparently. The paragraphing of his words is mediocre, but you can read the full quote …

Rocky Loves Emily Announce “Secrets Don’t Make Friends”

Rocky Loves Emily have finally revealed details regarding their highly-anticipated full length debut.

Hitting stores April 24 through Tooth And Nail Records, Secrets Don’t Make Friends will consist of material recorded by the band in the fall of 2011. An official website for the record can be found here, along with a countdown that seems to be ticking away to a Tuesday morning deadline. No word yet on what happens when the ticker hits zero, but I think a new song or additional album details would probably be a safe bet.
