Ronnie’s Wife Denies Claims About Ronnie Leaving FIR

There’s been a lot of buzz around Pup Fresh’s news article claiming that Ronnie walked out on Falling In Reverse due to their shows not selling out. While so far we have not heard from the band, Ronnie or their record label, Ronnie’s wife, Crissy Henderson, has taken to Twitter to deny the allegations. The BBC is apparently hungry for news this morning because they cracked the code of writing and found a way to turn a one line story about a rumored baby name into a 500+ word article. Regardless, buried in their latest post on Kanye West and Kim Kardashian is a curious mention that the Chicago-bred rapper will be naming his forthcoming album I Am God. Within the last couple hours, a big media scare came about in the form of rumors surrounding speculations on the potential passing of Dwayne Michael Carter, otherwise known as Lil Wayne. Recently, Wayne was admitted into the hospital on this last Tuesday for violent seizures, was later released on Thursday, and was readmitted tonight. According to TMZ, Wayne’s mother is currently in flight to LA to give the yay/nay on her son’s life support.

Don’t get the wrong idea: there’s nothing set in stone. That said, this is the second time the two comedians have hinted at doing a major tour together.

In an interview with Vulture last month, Chris Rock said “You know I’m not the hard one. But I’m trying to make that happen. After seeing Kanye and Jay-Z, I was like, ‘Me and Dave [Chappelle] should do this.’ ”

A website out of Australia stirred quite a bit of discussion this morning after posting that Blood On The Dance Floor would be putting their unique style of WTFPop to bed once and for all. The site believed, based on information from a man named AJ Maddah, that the end stemmed from the departure of one member, and even linked the split to the group’s recent decision to skip Soundwave.

Earlier today, vinyl website Vinyl Collective released some unofficial reports on an upcoming vinyl pressing of Finch’s debut full length, What It Is To Burn, that were then also picked up by Absolute Punk. UTG reached out to the band to confirm the reports, and the band gave us this statement:

Whoa. While we cannot confirm this news for certain, it looks like an absolute possibility. Earlier today both Touche Amore and Pianos Become The Teeth separately posted almost identical artwork, specific to each bands letters, at the exact time.

Sigur Ros Announce 2013 Tour, To Play Coachella?

Sigur Ros makes some of the weirdest music out there, and as the weird music representative of UTG I have to say I love their entire body of work. They’ve now announced a North American tour for 2013. Prefix Mag thinks that gaps in their schedule in April indicates that they’re also going to play Coachella, but I haven’t gotten my hopes up.

I should also say that I didn’t get my hopes up last year with the rumors that Refused and At The Drive In would play, and I was completely wrong, so hopefully I am again.…
