A Skylit Drive Perform Acoustic Version Of “Rise”

In September of last year A Skylit Drive released their fourth full-length album, which is titled Rise. The title track is, as you may guess, is one of the best songs on the album. It has a great message behind it and on top of that has a chorus that’s easy to sing along to. Now that the album has been out for a little while the group decided to record themselves performing an acoustic version of the aforementioned song. Watch the video of their frontman and one of the guitarists performing the song by taking a look below …

REVIEW: A Skylit Drive – ‘Rise’

ARTIST: A Skylit Drive
ALBUM: Rise
GENRE: Post hardcore
LABEL: Tragic Hero Records

A Skylit Drive came out with Wires…And The Concept Of Breathing the year after I graduated high school. I loved some of the songs on that album, but since then they’ve mostly just been one of those bands that I had in my music library but never really listened to that much. I own all of their albums, and I’ve seen them live a handful of times, but I was never as crazy about them as I was other bands in the same genre.

The first few …

A Skylit Drive Debut “Rise”

After weeks of teasers, A Skylit Drive are currently streaming a brand new single entitled, “Rise.”

Not too much has changed in regards to style or typical structure, but the cleans and screams have been raised to a new level of professionalism. The nasal-laden high notes of previous releases have been stripped away and replaced with singing in the same range as the person belting the notes, and though …
