At the 2:05 mark, there is a clip of material from a new song called “Introduced Species” which will be released June 12. The rest of the video features footage of the band writing and recording the album along with narration from individual members discussing life on the road and how they approached crafting the record as a collective.

Rise Records Welcomes Honour Crest

After making headlines in recent months for a number of punk-leading additions to their roster, Rise Records has made a return-to-form of sorts today by welcoming Virginia band Honour Crest.

Founded in 2009, Honour Crest describe themselves as a “metalcore/electronica band tearing its way through the scene.” They have one recently released album, Metrics, and according to the video released along with the announcement today another release can be expected this Fall.
