STREAM: Rihanna Ft. Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J & T.I. – “Pour It Up” (Remix)

I’ve grown a bit tired of these STREAM headlines, but when there are this many people on one track it’s hard to fit every notable person in any other way.

Following the radio success of the original, Rihanna has released a star-studded remix of her single “Pour It Up.” Featuring new verses from Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J, and T.I., the track boasts a lot of luxury life talk and next to nothing else. This shiny, but ultimately empty remix is for people who thought the original wasn’t vapid enough, and comes complete with additional bass lines for those …

MUSIC VIDEO: Rihanna – “Stay”

Music videos rarely leak, but apparently such is the case with the latest visual from Rihanna.

After performing a rather subdued live rendition at the GRAMMYS, Rihanna is keeping the promotional train for her ballad “Stay” alive and well with release of the track’s official video. We’re not sure when the clip was originally meant to debut, but we have the clip and are streaming it here on UTG for your enjoyment.

Directed by Sophie Muller, “Stay” allows viewers to get up close and personal with a believably emotional Rihanna while she sits naked and wet in a bathtub filled …

Frank Ocean Won’t Press Any Charges Against Chris Brown

Frank Ocean will not be pursuing a case against Chris Brown, according to a statement posted to his Tumblr today.

Waxing philosophic on aggression and compassion, Ocean wrote that he would, “choose sanity” over the prospect of retribution against Brown for his alleged assault last week on Ocean in the parking lot of a recording studio.

Check out the full statement from Ocean after the jump.

REVIEW: Rihanna – Unapologetic

Artist: Rihanna
Album: Unapologetic
Genre: Pop/r’n’b/dance
Label: Def Jam

Twas a wintry night much like this one, around one year ago, that Rihanna first crossed my critical path. The results were not what one would call harmonious. I really rather hated Talk That Talk, and in the same week a learned colleague here at Under the Gun pissed off every teenage Twihard in sight with a less than favourable review of the first part of Breaking Dawn, I poured salt in the wounds by dismissing Rihanna’s album as an abomination. Hmm. How things can change in a …

STREAM: Rihanna Ft Kanye West – “Diamonds” (Remix)

Oh. My. God.

We knew there would be a remix, but we never knew when it would arrive or who would be pairing alongside Riri’s signature vocals. Now, without warning, Def Jam comes through and delivers none other than Kanye West on the official remix for “Diamonds.” The track (not so) coincidentally drops the day Unapologetic leaked, and Def Jam was smart enough to throw this one on iTunes right away. Click through the “Read More” link below to stream the “Diamonds” remix and be sure to follow through to iTunes if you want a copy of your own.

STREAM: Rihanna Ft. Eminem – “Numb”

Rihanna is ready to unleash her seventh studio album, Unapologetic, on the 19 and a number of new tracks have made their way online this week. Her song “Numb” is a collaboration with rapper Eminem and provides us with an island vibe, that showcases RiRi’s free spirit.

The other new track UTG streamed earlier was her collaboration with former boyfriend Chris Brown called “Nobody’s Business”. Unapologetic hits stores through Island Def Jam and pre-orders can be placed right here.

Is this joint with Eminem as good as their last hit single “Love the Way You Lie”? Tell us …

STREAM: Rihanna Ft Chris Brown – “Nobody’s Business”

The collaboration no one wanted, but everyone needs to hear has finally found its way online in full. “Nobody’s Business” is one of the few tracks off Rihanna’s new album Unapologetic to feature guests, and this one has none other than former flame Chris Brown (otherwise known as the guy who beat the shit out of her). We all know how the UTG crew feels about Brown’s action, but it’s hard to deny the hook and beat of this track. See what you think of “Nobody’s Business” after the jump!

Unapologetic arrives soon. Are you ready?

Rihanna Reveals ‘Unapologetic’ Tracklist; Confirms Chris Brown Collaboration

Rihanna is keeping the press push for her upcoming album strong this morning with the release of her official tracklist.

Tweeted from Riri’s personal account earlier this morning by way of Instagram, the official tracklist for Unapologetic features fourteen tracks (fifteen counting the bonus), including the hit “Diamonds” and much rumored collaboration with former (perhaps current) flame Chris Brown. You can view the image Rihanna tweeted after the jump.

“Diamonds” is an absolute snoozefest in my opinion, but I’m willing to give another Rihanna record a chance. That said, I still think the message being sent to young fans through …

Album Review: Calvin Harris – 18 Months

Artist: Calvin Harris
Album: 18 Months
Genre: Pop

What you take away from Calvin Harris’ new album 18 Months, really depends on what you’re looking for when you’re listening. The fifteen tracks are all over the place in terms of sound. Set up like a Chinese buffet, the LP hits as many angles of the red carpet as possible. Mixing quick synth-pop riffs with full on radio friendly singles, the album features a little bit of everything for everyone. I bet you a dollar the biggest haters and Indie snobs will manage to find something to put on their …
