April 4th, 2013 James Shotwell Maybach Music Group mastermind Rick Ross has spent the few weeks in hot water after complaints he praised rape culture with lyrics from a song released earlier this year. March 28th, 2013 Grant Trimboli The Maybach Music Group has done it again with the huge remix of Omarion‘s single “M.I.A.”, which debuted early this morning through Funkmaster Flex’s radio show In Flex We Trust. This mix features appearances from Rick Ross, Rockie Fresh & French Montana.
UTG originally had some hesitations regarding the R&B artist joining such a heavy group of rappers but he has fit in perfectly. His style meshes well with the founding and newer members.
Omarion released his MMG debut, Care Package, mixtape this past November and can be picked up over here.

Mill has released the visuals for his Dreams And Nightmares single “Believe It,” featuring Rick Ross, and was directed by Dre Films. This slick video was shot in Las Vegas and features our favorite members blowing money fast and having the time of their lives. The only way they know how to do it.

March 21st, 2013 Grant Trimboli Wale has been flooring us with the amount of new material, promotional items, and visuals released recently and adds to the mix this morning. He has unleashed the brand new visuals for his new song “The Show,” which features head honcho Ricky Rozay and Aaron Wess.
The DC native announced the official news of his upcoming album yesterday, entitled The Gifted, which will see light of day on June 25 through the one and only Maybach Music Group.

February 1st, 2013 Grant Trimboli Did you expect a day to go by without Ricky Rozay jumping on at least one track? We thought not.
The MMG boss enters singer/writer Stacy Barthe’s latest single, entitled “Hell Yeah,” which comes across as a slow and seductive jam. “Hell Yeah” was produced by K. Roosevelt of Hit-Boy’s HS87 label and has potential to end up on a radio station near you.
Barthe is actually signed onto John Legend’s Homeschool Records. She plans on releasing her P.S. I Love You EP on February 14 so be on the lookout for more details and streams soon.
