Rick Ross Comments On Meek Mill’s Incarceration

The rap world is still recovering from last week’s news that Maybach Music Group member Meek Mill will be spending the next 3-6 months in jail for violating his parole. Mill, whose been on parole since 2008, was finishing a five-year probationary period when he was brought in by investigators for what several sites are describing as ‘concerning behavior.’ The rapper has yet to make a comment.

Rick Ross has never been one to keep quiet when news breaks, and though Meek Mill may be quiet his MMG boss is speaking up for him. “His album is coming,” Ross told …

Wiz Khalifa Shares New “We Dem Boyz” Remix Featuring Rick Ross, ScHoolboy Q, & Nas

Few artists can milk a single the way Wiz Khalifa has with “We Dem Boyz,” but every couple of weeks he gives us yet another reason to care about the first track off Blacc Hollywood.

The latest take on “We Dem Boyz” abandons the original remix verses and beat altogether to create something wholly new with the chorus and rhythm so many have grown to love. The cast joining Wiz this time has been updated as well and now features Rick Ross, ScHoolboy Q, and Nas. I don’t mean to hate on the previous remixes, but this one takes …

G-Eazy Releases “I Mean It” Remix Featuring Rick Ross

Bay Area rapper G-Eazy is continuing to promote the recent release of his debut album with the premiere of a brand new remix for “I Mean It.”

Featuring Maybach Music Group CEO Rick Ross, the official remix of “I Mean It” retains the original production while adding a bit of MMG’s signature sound to mix when the man known as ‘the boss’ makes his entrance. The track has been shortened to include only two verses, one from each artist. You can stream the song, in full, at the end of this post.

These Things Happen is available wherever …

Usher Recruits Rick Ross For “Good Kisser” Remix

Usher is hoping to find a little extra love for his latest radio single, and what better way to make that happen than collaborating with the king of Maybach Music Group?

A Rick Ross assisted remix of “Good Kisser” found its way online this evening boasting the same large, soulful production fans of the original have fallen for again and again, only this time with a little something added from Rick ‘The Boss’ Ross. I don’t actually know if people call him that, but after hearing his contribution to this track they may start. You can stream the song below.…

Jay Z Allegedly Disses Drake By Comparing Him To A Lacrosse Team On DJ Khaled’s “They Don’t Love You No More”

Less than a month after Drake made headlines for allegedly dissing Jay Z with the release of “Draft Day,” the man who lived a hard knock life has fired back at Canada’s brightest star with a little help from DJ Khaled.

Last night, a new star-studded single from DJ Khaled titled “They Don’t Love You No More” found its way online after being teased by the chart-topping hit maker earlier in the week. The song features Khaled’s typical wall-of-sound production, with vocal contributions from Meek Mill, Rick Ross, French Montana, and Jay Z. Every …

Puff Daddy Releases “Big Homie” Video Featuring Celebrities And Dirty Money

It makes me so happy to write Puff Daddy instead of P. Diddy and I only have my own love of nostalgia to blame.

Following the audio release last week, Puff Daddy has blessed the internet with the official visuals for his comeback single, “Big Homie.” The clip takes a step back from high-gloss visuals of recent Diddy efforts and aims to remind fans that Puffy still has cred in the street. You see Sean Combs and crew hanging out around NYC and LA, mean mugging for the camera, and occasionally counting large stacks of money that looks …

Big Homie: Puff Daddy’s Comeback Single Is A Beast

Growing up in the 1990s, I can recall several years where no one in hip-hop could touch the Bad Boy Records empire. It was the premiere label in urban music, and sitting on the throne was none other than Sean Combs – aka Puff Daddy. If you have never heard No Way Out in its entirety you have lived an unfulfilled life.

In the early 2000s, Puff Daddy became P. Diddy, and with the name change came a musical evolution that leaned heavily on pop influences and turned away many longtime listeners. Later releases found circles where they were appreciated, …

P Diddy Goes Back To Puff Daddy, Announces New Album

In our lifetime we’ve gotten to see one man take on one too many monikers. We’ve known him as Sean Combs, P Diddy, just Diddy, Puffy, and now he’s going back to the one that started it all – Puff Daddy. How long will this name change last though? Probably as long as his new album cycle takes.

It’s been four years since this guy’s dropped a record but back then he was still Diddy. It’s been even longer since he’s released anything under Puff Daddy. It was in ’99 when Forever hit the shelves and went to number two …

Big K.R.I.T. Kicks Off ‘Week Of K.R.I.T.’ With A Rick Ross Assisted Banger

There is nothing better than a song you never expected arriving in your inbox and blowing your mind. Big K.R.I.T. is no stranger to the world of hit-making, he has truly outdone himself with this first contribution to his ‘Week Of K.R.I.T.’ free music series.

Partnering with MMG mastermind Rick Ross, K.R.I.T. has created a monstrous new anthem titled “New Agenda.” It’s a southern-influenced, bass heavy offering produced by K.R.I.T. himself that packs a punch that carries a sense of timelessness akin to the best moments of Live From The Underground. You can stream and download the track …

Review: Rick Ross – ‘Mastermind’

Artist: Rick Ross
Album: Mastermind
Genre: Hip-hop

Rick Ross has gone through a lot since his last album. Between accusations of date rape lyrics, lawsuits from the real Rick Ross, tour dates around the globe, an attempt on his life, and all sorts of shade from artists and critics alike, the man behind Mastermind has experienced more in the last two years than many will ever go through in their entire lives. Unfortunately, most of that never gets addressed or put to good use on his sixth studio album, Mastermind. Instead, Ross offers a collection of potential radio …

Get “Sanctified” With This New Track From Rick Ross, Kanye West, And Big Sean

All I want is a $100 million dollars and a bad bitch.

Rick Ross surprised fans last night by sharing his new album, Mastermind, via iTunes a full week ahead of the record’s official shelf date. The entire record is worth your time, but for those who only want the hits we are sharing what is bound to be the most talked about track.

Featuring Kanye West and Big Sean, “Sanctified” is a larger-than-life anthem about climbing the ladder of success. The hook touches on the stereotypical symbols of success, while the verses focus more on …
