“Keep Doin That” is the latest promotional single to make the rounds online from Rick Ross. It’s a midtempo effort that aims to praise the women who hustle and keep it real while men do their best to tame them. If any ladies out there want a chance with these two emcees they need to be their own person, living in the fast lane with absolutely no regrets. Ty Dolla $ign has watched his celebrity grow throughout 2014, and next week he hopes to take things to another level when his $ign Language mixtape hits streets. Today, we get our first taste of the record, and I think it’s safe to say Ty has another hit on his hands.

Bringing together Dom Kennedy and Maybach Music Group head honcho Rick Ross against a beat that isn’t afraid to use thunderclap samples, “Lord Knows” is the first confirmed $ign Language track to find its way online. It’s little more than a series of boastful verses and misogyny, but it …

Chris Brown’s Highly Anticipated ‘X’ Gets Release Date

Over a year ago, Chris Brown fans got the news that the follow-up to Fortune was on its way. But then it wasn’t. The release date got pushed back again and again, six times in total. Someone was putting the finishing touches on the album, but Chris Brown had some other extracurricular activities on his plate over the last year; namely court appearances, time in court-mandated rehab, and jail for parole violations. He was locked away, but that didn’t stop the album’s first single, “Loyal,” from becoming a chart mainstay and selling over a million copies. In June, …

Rick Ross Comments On Meek Mill’s Incarceration

The rap world is still recovering from last week’s news that Maybach Music Group member Meek Mill will be spending the next 3-6 months in jail for violating his parole. Mill, whose been on parole since 2008, was finishing a five-year probationary period when he was brought in by investigators for what several sites are describing as ‘concerning behavior.’ The rapper has yet to make a comment.

Wiz Khalifa Shares New “We Dem Boyz” Remix Featuring Rick Ross, ScHoolboy Q, & Nas

Few artists can milk a single the way Wiz Khalifa has with “We Dem Boyz,” but every couple of weeks he gives us yet another reason to care about the first track off Blacc Hollywood.

The latest take on “We Dem Boyz” abandons the original remix verses and beat altogether to create something wholly new with the chorus and rhythm so many have grown to love. The cast joining Wiz this time has been updated as well and now features Rick Ross, ScHoolboy Q, and Nas. I don’t mean to hate on the previous remixes, but this one takes …
