Florida Georgia Line Perform New Song “Anything Goes” In St. Louis (Video)

Country turned pop superstars Florida Georgia Line are less than two months from the release of their sophomore album, and to date only one song has been made available to the public. That is until the band played St. Louis over the weekend.

Performing in front of a sold out crowd on Saturday, August 23, Florida Georgia Line informed fans they simply could not wait any longer to share new material with their audience. Before long, a new song titled “Anything Goes” was introduced to a roaring response. We were not on site, but as soon as the band tweeted

The promotional run for Slipknot‘s latest studio album has been shrouded in mystery from day one, but it looks like iTunes may have just spoiled the fun of future reveals for everyone involved in the band’s current public relations campaign.

Late last night, iTunes updated its music story to include a pre-order of Slipknot’s latest studio album. The record, which was announced near the beginning of summer, had not been given an official release date, title, track list, or cover art before this time. We thought long and hard about whether or not to share what we learned, and …

Leaked ‘Hateful Eight’ Trailer Teases Quentin Tarantino’s Latest

There was a time at the very beginning of 2014 when it seemed like the world would never see The Hateful Eight brought to life. The first project from filmmaker Quentin Tarantino since Django Unchained suffered from an early script leak near the end of 2013 that frustrated the Pulp Fiction mastermind to such an extreme he was ready to walk away from the movie altogether. Several months later, following a live reading of the leaked script that was well received, Tarantino brought the project back to life and announced plans to film in early 2015.

Fast forward to early …

The film is being produced by Legendary Pictures’ new Legendary Digital Media division and Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura. Mortal Kombat: Legacy producer Tim Carter wrote the script.

According to a press release, the 90-minute digital feature film will premiere exclusively on Crackle in the US and will …

Legendary Sets ‘Godzilla 2′ Release Date

The return of Godzilla was one of the most satisfying adventures to hit the silver screen all year long. Today, just a few short weeks after confirming plans for a sequel at Comic-Con International, Legendary Pictures revealed the day Godzilla will return.

Godzilla 2–which I assume will be given a proper subtitle at some point in the future–is scheduled for release June 8, 2018. That is just under four years from this point, and I wonder if audiences will be as happy for the creature’s return then as they would be if, say, he returned in 2016.

Get Wet: Aquaman Will Have His Own Film

There were rumors that surfaced near the end of 2013 that claimed Jason Mamoa had been approached by Warner Bros. about the possibility of portraying Aquaman in Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman. Those claims have since been accepted as truth, even though WB refuses to comment on the situation, and today we learned the studio that is placing a lot of money in the hands of DC Comics has decided to give Aquaman his very own film.

The Hollywood Reporter ran an exclusive late Tuesday night, August 12, that revealed to the world the fact Warner Bros. has hired …

Sony Moves ‘The Interview’ To Christmas Day, North Korea Still Pissed

A lot of time and research goes into scheduling the release of major motion pictures. Studios need to not only make sure their film opens with as little competition as possible, but that it opens at a time of year when people will be interested in seeing the type of film the studio plans to release. This is why horror films do not come out on Valentine’s Day and Christmas themed films tend to steer clear of the summer months (with the exception of Joe Swanberg’s Happy Christmas).

Today, Sony Pictures announced that The Interview has been moved from …
