Seth Gordon Says Video Game Adaptation ‘Uncharted’ Will Shoot “Very Early” Next Year

Video game fans, rejoice! The most anticipated video game adaptation in recent memory is finally moving a bit closer to becoming a reality.

In a new interview with Zap2It, filmmaker Seth Gordon revealed to fans and supporters that he believes the adaptation of Uncharted will enter production in early 2015. “I think very early next year. That’s the plan,” he said. “That’s like tomorrow, essentially, because the prep is so complicated for the movie.”

Another big complication? Finding the perfect actor to portray Nathan Drake. Having the right person in his shoes is critical to the movie’s success, which …

’20,000 Days On Earth’ Trailer: Nick Cave Tells The Whole Truth, Or Something Like The Truth

After months of awards and praise on the festival circuit, the documentary inspired by Nick Cave finally began screening in select theaters earlier this summer. Yesterday, the first trailer found its way online.

20,000 Days On Earth is not a typical rock and roll documentary. Instead of charting the life or career of Cave, the film chooses to focus on one semi-fictional day in the life of a musician who has spent his life traveling the world. Directors Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard have devised a number of improvisational situations for Cave. Specifically, “writing in his office, having lunch with …

Guillermo del Toro Talks ‘Hellboy 3′ And Whether Or Not It Will Ever Happen

This is a bit of hard post for me to write, dear readers. I have loved the character of Hellboy long before he was brought to the big screen in 2004, but to this day I stand by the cinematic franchise as one of the best comic adaptations of all time. Sadly, it seems like the rest of the world does not agree.

Recently, Guillermo del Toro was amidst a big promotional campaign for The Strain when he decided to spend an afternoon answering fans’ questions via Reddit. During his AMA, del Toro was asked about the fate of Hellboy

Motion City Soundtrack Plan 2015 Album Release

New album news seems to be a theme today, and the latest tidbit may be the best we’ve heard so far.

Motion City Soundtrack have been making buzz here and there over the past several months, which led many to believe the band may finally be working on a follow-up to 2012′s Go. Those thoughts were proven true this afternoon when Justin Pierre, longtime frontman and caretaker of an exquisite head of hair, reached out to fans through a video update to confirm that MCS will indeed be releasing a new album in the near future. Okay, so you …

Basement Announce Release Date for ‘Further Sky’; Stream Studio Update

When I first heard a stream of Basement‘s stunning comeback track “Summer’s Colour,” I was left wondering how and how soon I could get my hands on a copy of their forthcoming third studio album, Further Sky. Thanks to a recently released update from the band, my burning questions have been answered.

With one month to go until they make landfall upon American soil for a coast-to-coast tour (dates can be found following the jump), the UK group have chosen to release the album on July 29. Pre-orders for the record can be made through Run

‘Conjuring’ Spin-Off ‘Annabelle’ Set For October Release

For the majority of 2014 I have been quietly obsessing over the fact that October has very few horror films scheduled for release, despite the fact it’s statistically one of the best times of the year for thrills and chills to debut on the silver screen. Thankfully, the house that James Wan built, or at least the crazy little doll that resides within it, have saved the day.

According to Variety, New Line has set an October 3 release date for The Conjuring spin-off known as Annabelle. No plot information has been released, but we believe the film …

‘All Is By My Side’ Trailer: Andre 3000 Is A Pretty Convincing Jimi Hendrix

XLrator Media has released the first trailer for Jimi: All Is By My Side.

We have known that Andre 3000 would be portraying rock legend Jimi Hendrix on the big screen for some time, but footage and images from the film have been few and far between. We saw one clip of a performance sequence earlier this year, but even after the film’s initial festival premiere promotion (and word on distribution) was quiet. This week, finally, that changed when the first teaser trailer became available.

Most biopics focus on the entirety of someone’s life, or at least their career, …
