LIVE VIDEO: The Starting Line – “Luck” [New Song]

After seeing the Starting Line a few weeks ago at the second Detroit date, I left completely satisfied. It was a fantastic performance with a killer set list.

That being said, I would have loved to hear a new tune called “Luck.” So far, it has only been played at a handful of dates on the Say It Like You Mean It Tour and a few shows in early 2011.

For those who didn’t get to see it live on either tour, we have a video for your home enjoyment. Check it out below.

STREAM/DOWNLOAD: The Weeknd – Our Love

A boring Sunday gets a bit better now as Canada’s greatest recent export delivers another soulful jam.

Loosed on the internet from the vault it has been sitting in since 2009, “Our Love” is a track recorded by The Weeknd when he was part of a music collective known as The Noise. Things are slightly different from the man we’ve come to admire these days. but the passion and potential for great things is still impossible to deny. You can stream, download, and enjoy “Our Love” after the jump.

HOLY SH!T: A Ghost Runner On Third (Jonny Craig) Music Video Has Appeared Online

Before Dance Gavin Dance, Jonny Craig fronted another band by the name of Ghost Runner On Third. Anyone who has become a fan of Craig since his time with Dance Gavin Dance has likely heard of this band, but you would be hard pressed to find anyone in possession of their material. Sure there are low quality rips floating around, possibly even a few ripped from CDs fan forgot they owned, but nothing substantial for the Craig enthusiasts that simply must know/have/see/experience everything Jonny has created. Today, that changes.

Hours ago, a former member of Ghost Runner On Third uploaded …

STREAM: Metallica – Just A Bullet Away (Unreleased “Death Magnetic” B-Side)

Another week, another unearthed rarity from Metallica’s pre-Lulu days in hopes of reminding fans why they pay so much to see them live.

Uploaded by the band just a few short hours ago, “Just A Bullet Away” is the second song to surface from the Death Magnetic sessions since the band’s 30th anniversary. Much like “Hate Train,” this song, to us, sounds much better than the actual album. You can stream the song for yourself in original, raw form by clicking past the jump.

It is good to be reminded that Metallica were once better than they were throughout …

STREAM: Metallica – Hate Train (Unreleased “Death Magnetic” B-side)

Metallica have unleashed a song fans never knew existed and for the first time in over a year, it doesn’t completely suck!

Originally released as part of their 30th anniversary celebration, “Hate Train” was originally intended for Death Magnetic, but for some reason was ultimately scrapped. From the sounds of it, the band definitely missed a great single opportunity by passing on this jam. Head past the jump to experience it for yourself.

Lulu sucked, there is no denying that, but you have to admire Metallica’s effort to win fans back. This song reminds us all what they are …
