Atlas Losing Grip Annouce New Album, Stream Lead Single

Reigning all the way from Sweden, melodic punk rock band Atlas Losing Grip have finally announced the release of their first album since 2011. Currents will drop in North America on January 16, 2015 via Creator Destructor Records.

Although the band’s previous frontman, Rodrigo Alfaro, has parted ways with Atlas Losing Grip as of last week, his vocals are still featured on the record. However, their newly released single “Cynosure” showcases their new vocalist, Niklas Olsson’s, powerful voice.

The Swellers Release Lyric Video For “Call It A Night”

In preparation for Michigan punk rock outfit, The Swellers, hitting the road one last time before going their separate ways, the band has just released a new lyric video for their song “Call It A Night.” The song, with the video you can watch below, is taken from their 2013 release, The Light Under Closed Doors.

Listen To Diarrhea Planet’s New Song, “Peg Daddy”

Nashville punks Diarrhea Planet are gearing up to release their upcoming EP, Aliens In The Outfield, on November 18 via Infinity Cat Recordings. They have already released the other four songs off the effort, including their latest ’90s-esque tune “Bamboo Curtain.”

Today, the band has premiered “Peg Daddy” (via AltPress), the final track, which is much different than the rest of the EP. The tune is a little more lo-fi for the band but it gradually becomes louder in their signature punk blister.

Punk rockers, assemble! It’s that time of year again, folks. The Vans Warped Tour, the greatest traveling show on Earth, has announced its 2015 dates. Dates include many of the major staple stops of years past, such as Dallas, Ventura, Chicago, and other major markets.

The tour is set to run June 16 to Aug. 8 — through the dog days of summer yet again. This is the tour’s 21st year so we can be sure of some great surprises for the summer ahead.

Denver Riot Fest Denied Permit, Will Search For New Location

Arapahoe County, Colorado has denied Riot Fest‘s request for a temporary-use permit to stage their 3-day music festival on September 19-21 in the small town of Byers. Riot Fest was set to return to the same May Farms location where the festival took place in 2013, but locals began expressing concerns about the return of the festival, as an estimated 17,000 punk rock fans per day were about to invade their community of 1,000 residents.
