First High Quality On Set Footage From ‘Need For Speed’ Surfaces Online

It may be hard to remember given the vast amount of seemingly ridiculous film titles that have been greenlit in recent months, but next year Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul will lead the film adaptation of Need For Speed. The first high quality set footage has surfaced online, and though we’re still a year away from release we couldn’t resist showing you what is in store. No spoilers so far, so don’t be afraid to keep on reading.

Does the world need another ‘fancy cars driven fast in exotic locales’ movie when the Fast & Furious franchise is still …

‘The Human Centipede 3′ May Take Place In Prison

Today, May 24, Tom Six and a crew of people with (hopefully) strong stomachs begin production on the long-gestating final installment of the now infamous Human Centipede franchise. Just days ago we brought you word the film would be shot in Los Angeles, and this morning we have a few new production details to share.

According to a source who spoke exclusively with Bloody-Disgusting, it seems the final piece of The Human Centipede saga will take place (and be filmed in) a prison. No further plot details slipped out just yet, but we are foaming from our horror-loving mouths …

Times are tough in the world. Everyone seems to be short on cash, and many are trying to find a way to make a quick buck. For some, scalping tickets to sporting events, concerts, and the like has always been a pretty easy science to master. The concept is simple:

DAMMIT(?): Jeff Daniels Confirms “Dumb And Dumber To” Is DEAD

A few months back the internet exploded for an hour or so over news that Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels had officially signed on to make a sequel to Dumb And Dumber. The film was set to shoot in August, but TMZ is now reporting that Jeff Daniels has proclaimed the film “dead” following the exit of Carrey (who thought the studio was not as excited about the project as he would have liked). Is this good news? Is it depressing? I guess at this point we will never really know what might have been, but I get the …

DAMMIT: “Raging Bull 2″ Begins Production This Summer

Lots of cool remakes and sequels have been funneling through the pipeline recently, so it only makes sense that a bad decision or two would make the cut. Call me crazy, but the decision to green light Raging Bull 2 was one such mistake.

Moviehole has the exclusive, which reveals Raging Bull II plans to chart the early days of Jake LaMotta’s life, and then pick up again in the days after the end of Scorsese’s film. De Niro will not reprise his role as LaMotta, which already makes me weary, but legendary actor William Forsyth has stepped up to …

Peter Farrelly has confirmed a September start date for the long-rumored Dumb And Dumber 2. Even better, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are confirmed to star.

ComingSoon has the exclusive announcement, which confirms rumors that have swirled for months. While speaking with Farrelly at a junket for his upcoming co-directorial effort The Three Stooges, the following was revealed:

“We’re getting set to shoot ‘Dumb and Dumber 2′ in September,” he says. “It’s the first sequel we’ve ever done and we’ve got Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back.”

The original film opened in 1994 and has since gone on …

Get Ready, “Paranormal Activity 4″ Is On The Way

Paramount Pictures confirmed rumors that have been circling for weeks today by announcing plans to release a fourth installment in the Paranormal Activity franchise later this year.

Though no plot, cast, or production details have been given, Paramount confirmed the project in a press release sent to journalists earlier today. In the release, a representative for Paramount wrote:

In 2012, Paramount’s release slate highlights include “World War Z,” a zombie thriller starring Brad Pitt and directed by Marc Forster, “G.I. Joe: Retaliation,” the next installment in the global franchise starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Channing Tatum, a new chapter

Simon Pegg Denies “Hot Fuzz 2″ Rumors, Expresses No Interest In The Project

Earlier today, ComingSoon started a fuss online by reporting exclusive news that Nick Frost had revealed work on Hot Fuzz 2 was underway. As it turns out, this is not the case.

Shortly after the ComingSoon article went live, Hot Fuzz star Simon Pegg took to Twitter with the post “Hola Madrid! Seems to be some conjecture about there being a Hot Fuzz 2 in prod. I can confirm this untrue.”

Pegg followed this tweet moments later with a post that nearly nails the coffin shut on the idea of HF2 altogether, commenting “Also, I don’t want to make Hot …

Dammit, “Top Gun 2″ Is Happening

Tom Cruise is amidst a blitz of press for his latest Mission Impossible flick and recently spilt the beans about another sequel that is sure to equally overjoy and piss off the internet.

In a recent interview with MTVNews, Cruise shed a bit of light on the rumors that have been swirling about the possibility of a Top Gun sequel, but mostly just let people know it is in fact a reality in the making. If online stories are correct (and this is a good if), Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, the screenwriters behind ‘Thor’ and ‘X-Men: First …
