UTG’s close friends at Property Of Zack have premiered a video with Peace’d Out as their latest addition to the site’s “Behind The Booth” series.

As of right now, Peace’d Out hasn’t played any shows, and that could be due to the fact that the project is composed of busy musicians like Vinnie Caruana of I Am The Avalanche, Steve Choi of RX Bandits, Roger Camero of No Motiv, and Casey Deitz of The Velvet Teen.

Man Overboard Are Completely Done With Their Third LP

Pop-punk outfit Man Overboard have wrapped recording, mixing, and mastering their third album. Our good friends over at PropertyOfZack shot a mini-documentary of the band while they were in the studio working on the yet-to-be-titled album. The big takeaways from the short? Mystery Project Shone Leads Fans On Scavenger Hunt, New Song Found

Earlier this month, several rock artists Tweeted links to http://www.heatthing.com/, including Vinnie Caruana, Kevin Devine, and eventually John Nolan, Thrice, and Manchester Orchestra. The website has been updating videos at its page on a regular basis between midnight and one AM Eastern time, leading fans to speculate on what the page was actually for. The website is called Heat Thing, but it speaks of Shone on the website – but more on this part of the mystery later.

Pentimento’s Former Label Claiming Songs They Don’t Own

Our friends over at PropertyofZack have uncovered something quite interesting: apparently, Panic Records is issuing copyright claims and taking down the videos for Pentimento‘s music on Youtube. The problem? Panic Records is no longer Pentimento’s label, and doesn’t own the rights at all, according to the report.

We’ll keep you updated on what this is all about as we learn more, but so far it seems to be another case of an indie label trying to use its former bands for money and not ending on the most amiable of terms. Thanks to POZ for the discovery.
