Eric Roberts, Bree Olson, & More Join ‘The Human Centipede 3′

Forgetting for a moment the grotesque visuals and in-your-face approach to constructing a human anomaly, part of what made the rise of The Human Centipede such a marvel in the first place was the fact it was created without the involvement of any notable names. Both the first and second entries in the series thrived on not only their original idea, but the fact the people we interacted with were as unrecognizable as the person next door. This wasn’t a Hollywood psycho, it was a local one, and it seems that aesthetic may be lost in The Human Centipede.…

‘The Human Centipede 3′ May Take Place In Prison

Today, May 24, Tom Six and a crew of people with (hopefully) strong stomachs begin production on the long-gestating final installment of the now infamous Human Centipede franchise. Just days ago we brought you word the film would be shot in Los Angeles, and this morning we have a few new production details to share.

According to a source who spoke exclusively with Bloody-Disgusting, it seems the final piece of The Human Centipede saga will take place (and be filmed in) a prison. No further plot details slipped out just yet, but we are foaming from our horror-loving mouths …

Kevin Smith Finishes 137-Page ‘Clerks III’ Script

View Askew fans, rejoice! The return (and end) of your beloved convenience store employees is approaching faster than you know.

While the rest of us were busy trying to plan the perfect Mothers Day Sunday, Director Kevin Smith was typing away in his California home on what will become final feature film. After months of teasing, not to mention the one-time thought of turning it into a Broadway production, Smith completed his script to Clerks III and quickly took to Twitter to spread the news. He tweeted, “IT IS ACCOMPLISHED! First draft of CLERKS III is 137 pages. Plays like …

Kanye West, Liam Neeson, Tina Fey & More Added To ‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues’

The return of Ron Burgundy and his news team is arguably the most anticipated comedy event of 2013. Production for the December release is currently underway, and recently a number of celebrities have been seen on set that were previously unannounced for the film.

Kanye West was spotted shooting scenes in Atlanta earlier this week alongside Anchorman: The Legend Continues stars Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate. The three were reportedly filming on a rooftop somewhere in the city, but no further details about his appearance or how it will play into the plot have been revealed.

West is not the …

‘Die Hard 6′ May Be Titled ‘Die Hardest’; Possible Writer Revealed

When released on Valentine’s Day weekend earlier this year, the fifth installment of the Die Hard franchise left a relatively terrible impression on critics and moviegoers alike. Many thought the series would be killed off, ending after releasing a terribly underwhelming (and unnecessary) chapter few wanted, but after grossing over $250 Million at the worldwide box office, 20th Century Fox announced Die Hard 6 is a very real possibility.

According to a new article on Total Film, which we were going to leave alone until sites like /Film picked it up, British writer Ben Trebilcook has been tapped to …

PITCH PLEASE: Universal Planning ‘Pitch Perfect’ Sequel For 2015

In a turn of unusual events, Universal has announced they are currently developing a Pitch Perfect sequel tentatively planned for a 2015 release.

Released back in 2012, the theatrical debut of Pitch Perfect was far from what you would call an opening weekend deserving of praise. The film performed average (at best) both domestically and abroad, but later managed to find an audience and dedicated fanbase after gifs and screenshots began flooding Tumblr (along with other social media outlets). It was the kind of film people discovered through word of mouth, which is harder to accomplish these days than the …

Jason Bateman Claims ‘Arrested Development’ Movie Still At Least A Year Away

The return of Arrested Development via Netflix next month is one of the most unique (and hyped) television events in the last decade. It’s the first time, at least to our knowledge, that a show was cancelled for more than half a decade before being brought back to life in a new format (direct-to-consumer/Netflix model), and star Jason Bateman says there is still hope for even more AD goodness in the future.

Speaking with I Am Rogue while promoting his movie Disconnected, the conversation eventually turned to the topic of Arrested Development. IAR asked if the once rumored …

MOVIE REVIEW: I Declare War

Film: I Declare War
Directors: Robert Wilson and Jason Lapeyre
Starring: Siam Yu, Gage Munroe

While having an original idea for a film is one thing, bringing that idea to life in a way that is viable to large audiences is a completely different story. I Declare War is one of the few films that succeeds in both these areas, though many may argue it’s not a film for everyone, and hopefully it finds the attention it deserves in the months to come.

When bringing an original idea to life, it’s important to cut to the chase as fast as …

First Trailer For ‘The Wolverine’ Takes Us To Japan

The return of Iron Man and Superman to the big screen has been the focus of most superhero fandom in recent months, but Tony Stark and Clark Kent are not the only comic book characters appearing on the silver screen this Summer.

Hugh Jackman is once again letting his side burns grow to reprise his most popular role in The Wolverine. Based on the celebrated comic book arc, the movie will take Wolverine to modern-day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world, he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that …

Gru Tries To Be Good in The New Trailer For ‘Despicable Me 2′

Animated films used to be a completely different ballgame in terms of creation, marketing, and release. In the past, studios would strive to craft animated features with the hopes of creating modern classics that would be loved (ie bought/supported) for generations to come. Today, however, the focus has shifted from creating something timeless to something good enough to be repeated for as long as the money keeps rolling in. Sometimes this works out well (Toy Story 3), other times it falls flat (Cars 2), and for the life of me I cannot decide which of these …

The New ‘To The Wonder’ Trailer Has Us Longing For Love With Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams

Though some will still argue that it is greatly misunderstood, chances are more likely than not that you too felt Terrence Malick’s Tree Of Life was a jumbled mess of a movie. Critics seemed to love it, but for general audiences the film’s vague attempts to tackle some of the bigger questions about existence fell on deaf ears under a sea of slick visuals and confusing plot turns. The jury is still out for Malick’s latest, To The Wonder, but after viewing the following trailer it seems the time may have come to give the filmmaker another chance.

Opening …
