The hype surrounding the forthcoming album from The Wonder Years is practically deafening and we’re still almost a month away from release. So far the band has streamed two tracks from the effort, had their pre-order page crash from demand, revealed plans for four release day performances, and now those unable to make it out on Tuesday will have six additional release week opportunities to see The Wonder Years live.

Individual tickets for Gilda’s LaughFest, the nation’s only community-wide festival of laughter, go on sale beginning Friday, Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster.com (search LaughFest), by calling 800-745-3000 or at the Van Andel Arena or DeVos Place box offices.

The organizers of Lollapalooza have officially unveiled the lineup for this year’s return to Chicago’s Grant Park 8/3-8/5.

Appearing to be pretty much the exact lineup that was circling as a rumor not too long ago, the 2012 lineup for Lollapalooza promises headline appearances from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath, Black Keys, and Jack White. The complete list of performers is as follows:

Alternative rockers The Used have announced a run of US acoustic in-store performances/signings in April and Under The Gun Review has the details.

In a telephone interview for “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” Demi Lovato revealed that she will be performing two shows in the near future.

These two shows will be Lovato’s comeback to the stage – it’s been nearly a year since she’s performed. No doubt her fans are excited about her return, and Demi seems to be, as well, judging from her recent tweet!

Simple Plan to cancel more performances

Due to frontman Pierre Bouvier being diagnosed with swollen vocal chords, Simple Plan is being forced to cancel several more performances. In a statement posted to the band’s website, Bouvier goes more in-depth about the details of his ordered vocal rest and exactly which performances will be canceled.
