Pharrell Brings All His Friends Onstage For An Excellent Coachella Performance

Mr. Do It All and suspected vampire Pharrell Williams took the stage in Indio, California Saturday night (donning his gone-viral hat that aids in preventing wildfires and appears to double as a bird house) for a guest-filled (and dust-filled) set that seemed to wow those in attendance. Throughout his 18-song performance Pharrell brought Nelly, Busta Rhymes, P Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, Tyler, The Creator, and Diplo onstage for various tracks as the desert dust progressively took a toll on Lil’ Skateboard P’s pipes.

Toward the end of his set, Pharrell could hardly sing at all, finally giving up during …

Muse Cover Nirvana’s “Lithium” Live

This year is Muse‘s 20th anniversary of being a band. This April also happens to be the 20th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s suicide. Nirvana had a huge influence on many musicians and the rock genre itself. To honor his memory, Muse performed a cover of “Lithium” at this year’s Lollapalooza in Brazil. You can listen to the cover by taking a look below the jump.

Muse have two more performances that are currently scheduled. They will be performing at Coachella April 12 and 19 alongside many other big-name artists.…

On March 18, our buddies in I Am The Avalanche dropped their third album worldwide. Wolverines is the highly anticipated follow-up to the band’s 2011 release, Avalanche United.

One week prior to release, the band streamed the album in its entirety through Billboard. By the time Looney Tunes CDs hosted IATA’s in-store appearance, most fans already knew the words to all of the new songs. Hopefully after seeing round one of this series you now know all of the words, too. This batch includes some IATA tunes from their popular 2011 release.

Watch Billy Joel and Jimmy Fallon Perform Together on ‘The Tonight Show’

It’s no secret that Jimmy Fallon books incredible acts for his show. He’s hung out with Springsteen, joked with Vedder, and had the President of the United States slow jam the news. But once again, Fallon became the giddy fan he is inside, this time for Billy Joel.

Joel performed “You May Be Right” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where part-way through Fallon joined in with a James Brown impression. Look out for some forward singing, dancing, and sax playing. During the interview, Fallon and Joel sang The Lion King theme song as a two-man doo-wop group with …

Bring Me The Horizon To Play Wembley Arena This Year

When it comes to indoor concert venues, it doesn’t get much bigger than Wembley Arena (literally, and figuratively speaking). In its 80 year history it has hosted some of the biggest artists in the world. The list includes The Beatles, The Who, David Bowie and many more. It would undoubtedly be a huge honor to have the opportunity to play at such an iconic venue – and that’s exactly what Bring Me The Horizon will be doing.

The band announced early this morning that they will perform at Wembley Arena December 5. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale this Wednesday …

Watch Tyler, The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt Perform “Garbage” From GTA V

It’s the first day back from the weekend, and like every Monday the highlights of the days past are slowly beginning to make the rounds online.

You may not have known it, but between Friday and now the 2013 Video Game Awards took place. Amidst the festivities, which were broadcast, the Odd Future offshoot known as EarlWolf (Tyler, The Creator and Ear Sweatshirt) graced the stage to perform their Grand Theft Auto V contribution, “Garbage.” It was the first – and probably only – performance of the song to happen since the game hit shelves earlier this year. You can …

Blink-182 Announced ‘Untitled’ 10-Year Anniversary Shows

After a weekend spent putting fans on the edge of their seat, Blink-182 have confirmed the anniversary performances most believed were already on the way.

Blink-182 are scheduled to appear on KROQ in Los Angeles at 730AM PST this morning, which is the time most believed the big ’10-year’ news would be revealed. To our surprise, however, KROQ jumped the gun on the announcement and revealed plans for two Los Angeles based Untitled shows for early November. That’s right, just two shows, and they’re both on the West Coast. Everyone else would be wise to head to Priceline now. The …

Ben Rector Performs ‘Beautiful’ On Kimmel

We have been gushing for Ben Rector since discovering him aboard this winter’s Rock Boat cruise, and last night he made his television debut on Jimmy Kimmel’s late night talk show. Video of his performance was made available this morning, and now we can all enjoy a fantastic live rendition of “Beautiful.”

Everyone knows an artist (or six) who seem to have everything needed to be international sensations, but for one reason or another never seem to get their chance to shine in the limelight. Ben Rector fans have felt this way for the last several years, but it seems …

Miley Cyrus Performs Two Songs, Pokes Fun At Government Shutdown On ‘Saturday Night Live’

There seems to be no end in sight for the reign of Miley Cyrus.

Serving as both host and musical guest just days after making headlines for her raciest photo spread to date, Miley Cyrus took the stage at Rockefeller Plaza last night to appear on Saturday Night Live. The pop sensation did a passable job by all accounts, and this morning the show’s best moments are making their way around the net.

Starting with the performances, Miley took the obvious and delivered live renditions of “Wrecking Ball” and “We Can’t Stop” on the long-running sketch show. The …

You Me At Six Turn Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” Into A Country Song On BBC Radio 1

You Me At Six are the latest to join the long line of talent who has taken to BBC Radio 1 with a cover you would never expect, and the way they made it their own may shock you.

For the last few years You Me At Six have sat on the fringe of the popular pop rock band list, making fans one show and single at a time. Whether or not they’ll ever be as big stateside as we at UTG believe they deserve is debatable, but I doubt anyone will have something negative to say about the performance …

Watch Ol’ Dirty Bastard Be Resurrected Via Hologram At Rock The Bells

Yesterday we brought you footage of Bone Thugs ‘N Harmony resurrecting fallen rap icon Eazy-E during their performance at Rock The Bells in San Bernardino, California. The response was mixed, just like our reaction, and this morning we have footage of another legend being brought back to life at the West Coast festival.

In the midst of a closing night performance on Sunday (Day 2) at Rock The Bells, Wu-Tang Clan resurrected Ol’ Dirty Bastard via hologram for a handful of minutes. ODB — who’s been dead since November 2004 – appeared alongside his Wu-Tang brothers and son (Young Dirty …

Bruno Mars Will Perform At This Year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show

Bruno Mars will perform at this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show. Reports are in that he will do as such, and then his official Facebook has a post saying, “WE’RE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!” Last year’s Super Bowl performance had Beyoncé; more memorable performances include Prince covering the Foo Fighters and Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson having a wardrobe malfunction (which, if you don’t remember, was basically a nipple slip).

Not only do I actually enjoy Bruno Mars’ music, but I’m particularly entertained he will be the performer at this year’s Super Bowl,  which is at an …
