April 22nd, 2013 Anthony Galasso The new music video from Pentimento finally surfaced on YouTube, and we’re just so excited about it.
The video shows the band playing the song in a darkened room while a girl walks along a beach and into the ocean, mimicking the album cover from their latest self-titled release.

April 18th, 2013 Adrian Garza Well it looks like we have some news of a new full length release from Less Than Jake. The band will be entering the studio in May to record their first LP since 2008′s GNV FLA through one of the biggest labels in punk music: Fat Wreck Chords.
Along with that, LTJ are going to be hitting the road this summer on national and international levels, included in that are a week’s worth of east coast dates with Hostage Calm and Pentimento. Follow the jump for a listing of tour dates.

This acoustic version of “Circles” was recorded at Quiet Country Audio in Buffalo, N.Y. and really shows off Pentimento’s softer side. “Circles” was originally released on the band’s self-titled debut this past November.
Pentimento also announced yesterday that they will be playing Alternative Press’s 100 Bands You Need To Know showcase at SXSW this year alongside Frank Turner and Andrew WK. Check here for more details and watch Pentimento perform “Circles” below.

The sound quality is great, the video is awesome, but most importantly, Pentimento shows us why we think they are one of the rising stars in the scene today.
Pentimento released their self-titled debut this past November, and are gearing up for another announcement on March 1.

January 24th, 2013 Dan Bogosian Pentimento is never not working towards their next goal. After announcing their plans to release their album in Japan, they’ve now announced the March Radness Tour with Candy Hearts and Allison Weiss. What’s Eating Gilbert, also known as Chad Gilbert from New Found Glory, will be opening for all California dates. January 3rd, 2013 Matthew Dondiego Buffalo rock outfit Pentimento have announced Canadian dates kicking off later this month. The short run of tour dates will include support from Gates, Safe To Say, and Like Pacific.

November 13th, 2012 Kriston McConnell Recently, we found out that Pentimento and their former record label, Panic Records, were having a rights dispute over their debut full length album. Since then, we have been reporting on the issue and supporting the band, as we have been supporting them the last couple of months.

November 13th, 2012 Justin Proper We have been hyping the release of Pentimento’s self-titled album for some time, but like you we were very perplexed by the lack of pre-orders and normal promotional activities. Turns out, the New York rock act wanted to take a more natural release route, but issues with their former label Panic Records caused everything announced back in September to fall apart in the weeks leading up to this point.
