WATCH: Kings of Leon With Eddie Vedder – “The Bucket”
October 5th, 2012 Dan Bogosian Southern rock band Kings Of Leon were joined on stage recently by Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder to perform the song “The Bucket”.
Bootleg footage has surfaced of the performance. Watch it right here after the jump.
Kings of Leon are also working on their follow up to 2010′s Come Around Sundown. Let’s hope it’s better than Pearl Jam’s last album… Backspacer cannot be unheard. I wish it could.
Jay-Z & Pearl Jam Perform “99 Problems” At Made In America Festival
September 3rd, 2012 Grant Trimboli Music industry veterans Jay-Z and Pearl Jam came together at day 2 of the Made In America Festival this weekend and the results were mind-blowing. This rockers powered through a distortion-laced version of Hova’s classic “99 Problems” and the fans went crazy.

Jay-Z’s Made In America Festival Announces First Round of Artists
May 22nd, 2012 Tyler Osborne The first round of groups for Jay-Z’s inaugural Made in America music festival have been announced, and they are nothing short of impressive. Included in the list are Pearl Jam, Skrillex, X, and Odd Future. The festival is being held on September 1 and 2 at Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, PA. Presale general admission tickets are sold out, but normal general admission tickets are on sale tomorrow, and you can find them here when they go up.

West Memphis Three freed after 18 years
August 19th, 2011 Michelle Thanks to a public campaign involving fans in the rock and metal communities, the West Memphis Three have been freed fro jail after being imprisoned for a crime they didn’t commit. Two of the three were saved from life in prison, while the third was saved from Death Row.

New Pearl Jam album in the works
March 16th, 2011 Melanie Pearl Jam are going to start working on their new album in April. This will be their first album since the 2009 release of Backspacer.
“We did a whole bunch of demos and everybody’s got a disc of 25 [songs] right now. April will be the time where we get together and learn to play all these demos and figure out which 12 to 15 of them float to the top. Hopefully we can get something done this year.”- Jeff Ament, Bassist

Band of Horses make soaring, earthy guitar anthems and have roots in Seattle. So do Pearl Jam. Band of Horses will open a bunch of dates for the grunge megastars in May. A good look for both bands!
