P.O.S. Announces US Tour Dates

Rhymesayers Entertainment / Doomtree Records artist P.O.S. took to the internet this afternoon to release seven touring dates in the United States.

The first date starts off in Colorado later this month, moves West to California, and then heads across the country to Wisconsin. View the official itinerary for the announced US dates through the jump.

P.O.S. has released the music video for the song “Get Down”, featuring Mike Mictlan. The song is taken from his fourth studio album, We Don’t Even Live Here, which was just released today! Be sure to pick up your copy if you haven’t already. You can watch the video by checking below the jump.

Doomtree rapper P.O.S. released the music video for “Bumper” through Pitchfork’s City of Music today. “Bumper” is the first released single off of his fourth studio album, titled We Don’t Even Live Here, which is set to release on October 17th, 2012. One could clearly see that the majority of the video’s live performance shots really captures the same punk rock aesthetic that P.O.S. is known for.

UTG INTERVIEW: Cecil Otter of Doomtree

Cecil Otter is one of the founding members of the hip-hop collective Doomtree. He could easily be considered a lyrical genius as well as a prodigy in production. As a younger man, Cecil went semi-pro as a skateboarder but with inspiration in hip-hop from his sister, he stuck to music and made it his main priority as a career. He’s been involved with nearly a dozen Doomtree releases as well as solo work, and is currently in progress of a new solo endeavor.

Doomtree Announce New Album

Hip-hop collective Doomtree have released details on their upcoming group album No Kings which is currently scheduled to drop on November 22. The album will feature members P.O.S., Dessa, Sims, Cecil Otter, Lazerbeak, Mike Mictlan, and Paper Tiger. No Kings will be the group’s third official studio album despite their other digital-only releases and compilations.

P.O.S. remixes T.V. On The Radio

P.O.S., a producer/rapper from Minneapolis, has remixed T.V. On The Radio’s ballad ‘Will Do.’ The song is off of the bands new album Nine Types of Light, which is set to drop April 12th via Interscope Records. Check out the remix of the song here.
