Earl Sweatshirt Cancels Bonnaroo Set

Odd Future affiliate Earl Sweatshirt has let fans know via Twitter he will not be performing at Bonnaroo due to coming down with pneumonia. With a plethora of understandably disappointed festival goers who were looking forward to seeing his set at the festival, the rapper has also made quite a few personal apologies before having this to say to those unimpressed with his reasoning for backing out:

“to everyone who think im being overdramatic, go get pneumonia and then try singing ‘whoa’ all the way through with no hypeman. im just sayin.”

Earl’s previously scheduled 4-5 PM time slot on …

Several tracks from Mac Miller’s forthcoming album have found their way online ahead of their June 18 street date, and UTG could not resist sharing one of the most anticipated cuts from the record.

Pairing the Pennsylvania native with Odd Future Wolf Gang mastermind Tyler The Creator, “O.K.” is a balls-to-the-wall insane bonus track off Watching Movies With The Sound Off that will surely fuel many a barkyard BBQ this summer. The hook features the Odd Future ringleader chanting “Get ‘em Mac,” and the verses feature both MCs showcasing why they’ve risen to such heights of popularity in recent years. …

The social media realm has been abuzz since news broke that Mountain Dew would be pulling their Tyler, The Creator directed ad campaign over accusations of racism. Odd Future have never been a group to back away from a controversy, but whether or not the situation is grounds for such a fuss is another story altogether. Everyone has an opinion to share, and this morning we wanted present thoughts from the group’s longtime manager, Christian Clancy.

In a new statement released in the last twenty-four hours, Christian Clancy opens up about reactions to the ad, his knowledge of Tyler’s intent, …

STREAM/DOWNLOAD: Domo Genesis Ft Remy Banks – “Drugs Got Me Spiritual”

April 20 has become a go-to day for urban artists hoping to ride the wave of popularity in marijuana culture, and this year has proven to be no different. I chose not to post a number of tracks that have been submitted already because, to be frank, they were nothing more than an excuse to say weed over a weak beat. This track, however, is something special.

Pairing with production from The Alchemist once again, Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All member Domo Genesis has released a new song entitled “Drugs Got Me Spiritual.” Featuring a guest verse from …

WATCH: Tyler, The Creator Feat. Earl Sweatshirt and Domo Genesis Perform “Rusty” on ‘Letterman’

Last night, members of Odd Future stopped by The Late Show With David Letterman to perform the song “Rusty” from Tyler, The Creator’s new album, Wolf.

There’s no doubt that Odd Future is a collection of entertaining personalities. During Domo Genesis’ verse, both Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, The Creator bust out an impromptu choreographed dance. Not to mention, Tyler, The Creator rapping a cappella at the end of his verse, only to drop the mic and walk off stage with the rest of Odd Future. Tyler made up for it though by coming back out, putting his arm around David

We’re not one to start rumors around here at Under The Gun, but when we hear Earl Sweatshirt news, we kind of get excited.

The site, Pot Holes In My Blog has reason to believe a collaborative EP between Earl Sweatshirt and Toronto based producer Jesse Futerman is in the works. The project’s expected to be titled, Wanderer and “will feature lot’s of cool Artists that you’d expect to be on it,” according to Earl’s personal Facebook status.

Jesse Futerman is a 21-year-old musician and producer who’s jazz based music sampling would seem to mesh well with Earl’s rapping style. …

WATCH: Tyler, the Creator On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon

In 2011, Tyler, the Creator made his television début on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon program. It was a memorable show. Tyler and Hodgy Beats performed “Sandwiches,” assaulted the night’s guests, and afterwards, Jimmy Fallon gave Ace an impromptu piggy back ride through the credits.

This time, Tyler scaled things back a bit. Manning the piano for half of his performance, he debuted “TreeHome” which will appear on his forthcoming record Wolf along with “Domo23″ which was also performed on the program.

If you missed the show like you do every night, you can watch the performance below. Wolf

Right on time, Tyler The Creator‘s new single has hit the net with visuals to accompany it.

This was announced this evening along with tour dates, album art, and the release date for his upcoming album, Wolf, dropping April 2.

The video for “Domo23″ was, of course, directed by Ace himself, filmed by Luis Ponch, and produced by Tara Razavi.

The video is basically just Tyler getting his ass kicked in the ring with Domo Genesis while Earl Sweatshirt refs and the rest of the Odd Future crew watches on. If you listen through to the end, you’ll …
