UPDATE #2: The mugshot for Carlile’s arrest has been found.

Earlier today, AbsoluteVoices site PropertyOfZack broke the news that Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile had been arrested over the weekend and charged with felonious assault. UTG dug into the matter and recovered a few additional details, including the fact Carlile was not the only one arrested.

Austin Carlile, 25, of Huntington Beach, Calif., was arrested in Bowling Green, OH for felonious assault outside of 149 North at 2:50 …

Of Mice & Men’s Austin Carlile Arrested For Assaulting Man

Our brothers over at POZ are reporting that Of Mice & Men vocalist Austin Carlile was arrested late last night for assaulting another man.

The group was forced to miss two dates of their tour with A Day To Remember as a result of Carlile’s incident.

Under The Gun Review has no further details regarding this event but Austin was released from jail today. Stay tuned for more information to come soon.

The 2013 Skate And Surf Festival is growing to enormous proportions by adding a slew of new artists and bands to this year’s line-up. Newly added are Of Mice & Men, Breathe Carolina, Escape the Fate, T. Mills, My Ticket Home, Hollywood Ending, World’s Fair, American Authors, Skip the Foreplay, Pittsburgh Slim, and Complete Confusion.

These group’s will be joining already announced headliners Fall Out Boy (May 18), A Day To Remember (May 19), and so many more.

MUSIC VIDEO: Of Mice And Men – “The Depths”

Capping off what can only be described as their best year to date, Of Mice and Men are closing 2012 with the release of their official video for “The Depths.”

Originally released back in June, “The Depths” is taken from the Rise Records reissue of The Flood. The track finds the band leaning heavily on their metalcore roots, so much so that a review of the song earlier this year compared OM&M’s efforts to early Slipknot. In a recent interview with Absolutepunk’s Jake Denning, Austin Carlile shocked fans by revealing some contempt with his band’s former clean vocalist, Shayley Bourget.

In an unexpected response to one of the interviewer’s questions, the Of Mice & Men frontman made it perfectly clear that there are issues with their parted member.
