Stream: Tyler, The Creator, Kanye West, & Lil Wayne – “Smuckers”

Just as Tyler, The Creator‘s Cherry Bomb arrives on iTunes, a stream of one of the record’s most anticipated tracks has found its way online.

“Smuckers” is a collaborative effort that no one could have imagined happening five years ago. Over the course of five and a half minutes Tyler swaps bars with Kanye West and Lil Wayne. Each pretty much stays in their own line, and they probably didn’t actually complete the song in the same room, but still – it’s pretty cool. To make matters even better, it’s a far more enjoyable song than “…

Stream Earl Sweatshirt’s New Record ‘I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside’

Earl Sweatshirt‘s follow-up to 2013′s Doris, titled I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside, is now available for streaming via Spotify.

A week ago, pre-orders went up for the record on iTunes, to many fans’ approval and Sweatshirt’s apparent dismay, which he showed in tweets that read “I WOULD LIKE TO PERSONALLY THANK @SonyMusicGlobal 4 FUCKING UP THE ROLL OUT PROCESS OF MY SHIT. SOMEONE GOTS 2 PAY 4 THEIR MISTAKES ! #SWEAT,” “IM LIVID,” and my personal favorite, “TOO MANY FUCKING COOKS.”

The ten-track album contains features from Na’kel, Vince Staples, Da$h and Ratking’s Wiki. …

Earl Sweatshirt To Embark On US and European Tour This Spring

Earl Sweatshirt will be heading back on the road this spring with Vince Staples and Remy Banks as support. The young Odd Future rapper/producer will be embarking on a pretty extensive ‘Not Ready 2 Leave’ tour throughout the US and Europe starting at the end of March, stopping at a few music festivals along the way.

The Los Angeles native had to cancel several of his remaining tour dates last summer due to exhaustion. Since releasing three new tracks from what potentially might be a followup to his 2013 debut record entitled Doris, the rapper appears to be …

Earl Sweatshirt Streams New Track, “45″

…or part of it at least.

On Wednesday, via Twitter, Odd Future heavyweight Earl Sweatshirt directed his followers’ attention to a YouTube stream for a track called “45.” However, as it runs just over a minute in length and ends somewhat abruptly, it sounds as though it may just be a clip or it fades into another track.

Judging by Earl’s tweet of “ALCHEMIST / SWAMPMAN,” we’d imagine that Alchemist handled the old school, ’70s-esque production.

Regardless of length, the bit we do get is super solid and we look forward to…the rest of it? Realistically, we look forward …

Tyler, The Creator Announces US Tour Dates

Odd Future founder Tyler, The Creator has been relatively quiet on the music front since the release of his 2013 solo album. The one-time Goblin told press shortly after the record’s release that he was tired of rap and that he wanted to be known for doing other things as well because he knew he was capable of more. We respected that stance, but part of us always hoped Tyler would come around and want to rap again.

Today, those of us hoping for a return got a taste of what it must feel like when dreams come true after …

UTG PHOTOS: Governors Ball Music Festival

Under The Gun sent photographer, Nick Karp, to Randall’s Island in New York City to photograph the Governors Ball Music Festival.

Much has changed since I attended the first Governors Ball Music Festival, including (thankfully) a new location, more days added to the festival, and there no longer being the gimmick of “No Overlapping Set times.” The market to hold a quality festival in New York City has been in the search since the rise of other domestic festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo, and Governors Ball is the answer. 40,000+ people attended the festival in order to watch notable acts …

UTG PHOTOS: Sasquatch! Music Festival Takes The Gorge Amphitheater By Storm

Under the Gun Review sent photographer, Xander Deccio, to the Sasquatch! Festival in Quincy, WA on the weekend of May 23-25.

To quote my colleague, Morgen Schuler of Seattle Weekly, “Sasquatch! is like summer camp for music lovers. You don’t know what it’s like to experience a weekend at the Gorge in George until you’ve been there.” And this Sasquatch! Was no different. Oh, wait, yeah it was! You see, Sasquatch! was supposed to be two weekends this year. One weekend would be on the normal Memorial Day weekend as it’s been in previous years, and the other would follow …

Tyler The Creator - Yonkers

WATCH: Tyler, the Creator – “I Just Bought a Bugatti (I’m Happy)”

Whether he is trolling literally everyone, getting thrown in jail for ensuing a riot or pissing off some minority, Tyler, the Creator is always getting attention. And it is very obvious that the rapper and his crew, Odd Future, love it.

With the new season of Odd Future’s television show, Loiter Squad, taking off recently, Tyler and the gang have come out with a video for the song that was written for the sketch show, “I Just Bought a Bugatti (I’m Happy).” The song also features a verse from IceJJFish. It’s is definitely his attempt to make fun of …

Free MP3: Earl Sweatshirt – “Chum” (Left Brain Remix)

Nine months have passed since Odd Future member Earl Sweatshirt released his long-awaited debut album, and in that time the young rapper has graced the front page or cover of every notable music magazine from here to Bangkok. The one thing he hasn’t done, however, is announce when fans can expect new material. Today we have a little something special to share, but those wanting truly new stuff will have to wait a bit longer to hear what Earl develops next.

A new remix of Earl’s “Chum” single found its way online this afternoon through Sweatshirt’s official Soundcloud. …

Trash Talk and Flatbush Zombies’ Drone-Shot “97.92″ Music Video Will Blow Your Mind

The way you view the world is about to get wonky. In the new video for their joint track “97.92,″ New York’s Flatbush Zombies and Trash Talk use a remote controlled drone to film some warped fish-eye shots from the air.

The video has quick movements with weird angles that make the singers look blown up, floating, and all in all pretty disproportionate. Get ready for the world to cave in and inverse itself. If that’s not your thing, grab a bag for air sickness and read a statement from the video’s creators, Aplusfilmz and Pier Pictures, to understand how …

Trash Talk Announce New Album ‘No Peace,’ Stream New Song

Trash Talk, everyone’s favorite Odd Future-crossover hardcore band, has announced a new record. The band will be releasing No Peace through Trash Talk Collective/Odd Future Records on May 27. The first single, “Cloudkicker,” can be streamed after the jump.

If the new song is any indication, the band has taken a more focused approach to their sound than that showcased 2012′s 119. The tracklist is notably devoid of Tyler, The Creator and his Odd Future pals, although King Krule and Wiki will feature on a bonus track and the record’s opener and closer were produced by Alchemist. While …
