Last night, members of Odd Future stopped by The Late Show With David Letterman to perform the song “Rusty” from Tyler, The Creator’s new album, Wolf. 

There’s no doubt that Odd Future is a collection of entertaining personalities. During Domo Genesis’ verse, both Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, The Creator bust out an impromptu choreographed dance. Earl Sweatshirt to release a collaborative EP with Jesse Futerman?

We’re not one to start rumors around here at Under The Gun, but when we hear Earl Sweatshirt news, we kind of get excited.

The site, Pot Holes In My Blog has reason to believe a collaborative EP between Earl Sweatshirt and Toronto based producer Jesse Futerman is in the works. The project’s expected to be titled, Wanderer and “will feature lot’s of cool Artists that you’d expect to be on it,” according to Earl’s personal Facebook status.

Jesse Futerman is a 21-year-old musician and producer who’s jazz based music sampling would seem to mesh well with Earl’s rapping style. …

Right on time, Tyler The Creator‘s new single has hit the net with visuals to accompany it.

This was announced this evening along with tour dates, album art, and the release date for his upcoming album, Wolf, dropping April 2.

The video for “Domo23″ was, of course, directed by Ace himself, filmed by Luis Ponch, and produced by Tara Razavi.

Tyler, The Creator Announces New Album, Music Video, and Spring Tour

Mr. Goblin himself, Tyler, The Creator has announced a slew of new things on this lovely Valentine’s Day (play “She” for your sweetheart). Firstly, his brand new, highly anticipated album, Wolf, drops April 2 and will feature three separate album covers, including a special deluxe version with awesome artwork from the talented Mark Ryden. Wrapping up 2012, multi-genre producer Flying Lotus came out as the true identity of the mysterious and cleverly named rapper, Captain Murphy. I say clever as Captain Murphy is an (awesome) character from Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim show, Sealab 2021, and as Flying Lotus has produced a significant amount of bumper music for Adult Swim, it makes perfect sense that he would adopt the moniker of one of their best animated offerings.

Frank Ocean Cited For Possession Of Marijuana, Other Charges

R&B crooner Frank Ocean achieved major success in 2012, receiving tons of praise in his rise to an absolute sensation. So far in 2013 the only thing Frank Ocean has received is a citation from California police.

According to TMZ, the Odd Future member was pulled over for speeding, traveling at 90 MPH in a 65 MPH zone, which then resulted in the discovery of tinted windows, a suspended license and a small amount of marijuana.

However it seems that Ocean did not face any real penalty, having his license confiscated before being sent home with his passenger now driving. …

Something perfect happened last Thursday.

At a Spotify press conference in New York City last week, up-and-comers, big names, and future hopefuls gathered to speak about their success in 2012 and their agenda for the upcoming year. At the event, Frank Ocean played a short set in which he covered “Fake Plastic Trees” by Radiohead as a lead in to his song “Voodoo.”

The R&B star swooned over the track as audience members rudely chatted and onlookers adoringly watched the 6 time Grammy nominated artist. It was a beautiful thing. Thank you unexperienced cameraman.
