Michelle Williams Squashes Destiny’s Child Reunion Rumors; Will Not Be Performing At Super Bowl

Today is a strange day thus far. Frank Ocean and Chris Brown are throwing punches, Rick Ross is evading gunfire, and now video surfaces of Michelle Williams destroying all hope in a Destiny’s Child comeback in 2013.

KarenCivil brought to light a new video this morning that features Michelle Williams doing an interview about the rumored Destiny’s Child performance during the 2013 Super Bowl. Yesterday, a blog no one on our staff has ever read by the name of HolyMoly reported that they were absolutely sure they could confirm at least one reunion by The Smiths in 2013. Mark Hoppus Confirms Green Day & Blink-182 Tour Is NOT Happening, Admits It Is A “Good Idea”

Rumors have been swirling all weekend that Green Day and Blink-182 were gearing up to announce a 10-year anniversary edition of their hugely successful Pop Disaster Tour from 2002. We never ran the rumor because, honestly, we couldn’t find a single person to serve as a “source” for this information. Turns out, that was a good move.

As you may have already read, earlier today Green Day announced the first leg of their forthcoming North American tour, sans any details on who would be supporting them. Blogs saw this as an opening to again approach the idea of Pop Disaster …

DAMMIT(?): Jeff Daniels Confirms “Dumb And Dumber To” Is DEAD

A few months back the internet exploded for an hour or so over news that Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels had officially signed on to make a sequel to Dumb And Dumber. Rumors have been swirling on line over the past week that The Smiths were in talks to reunite and this morning the official word arrived.

Opening up to fans on his personal Facebook this morning, Smiths’ guitarist Jonny Marr posted:

The rumour of the Smiths reunion is untrue. It’s not happening.

Short and heartbreaking, right? Rumors about The Smiths tend to pop up at least once a year, but they have been becoming much more frequent as of late.

Dr. Dre Says Tupac Hologram Was “Strictly for Coachella,” Addresses Tour Rumors

After a week of gossip, Dr. Dre has finally addressed the rumors and intentions of Hologram Tupac.

Dre addressed the hologram and all the rumors surrounding it in a new video posted to YouTube last night by Interscope
Records. In the clip, Dre thanks the people behind the spectacle and claims it was originally intended “strictly for Coachella” before addressing talk of a tour with the line “if a tour happens, we’ll see.” You can view the clip after the jump.
