UTG TV: Boardroom Heroes Acoustic Session

DC-based punks Boardroom Heroes recently sat down with Tyler of our UTG TV staff and performed two of their songs acoustically, “Elephant” and “Not Hesitating.” Since being signed to Sinking Ship Records and playing Fest 11 in 2012, Boardroom Heroes have been steadily gaining a substantial following.

Boardroom Heroes are gearing up to go on a short run of dates around the East Coast, which you can check out below. In addition to having a slew of shows coming up, Boardroom Heroes are also working on a brand new EP. Talk about busy!

NOFX Release Brand New Song

Popular punk act NOFX have released a brand new song titled “This Machine Is 4″, premiering now over at Rolling Stone. The new song comes off of the band’s upcoming album Self Entitled due out on September 11.

NOFX Discusses Sound Of New Album

AP recently caught up with Fat Mike to discuss the recording process of NOFX‘s new album.

The tracks on the group’s twelfth full-length were produced by Bill Stevenson (Rise Against, Hot Water Music, Bouncing Souls). Mike mentioned that the sound of this album is compareable to Punk In Drublic. He also discussed how the writing worked, his laziness and the vibe in the studio. Silverstein recently released a music video for their new song “Brookfield,” that comes of off the band’s forthcoming compilation album Short Songs. The track provides a perfect balance of memorable melodies and hooks for days.
