Baseball season has about a month and a half left, with the playoffs slowly but surely approaching. With this being said, grindcore baseball-themed band Puig Destroyer will be releasing a debut full-length album that is about none other than, you guessed it…baseball.

Since announcing their singing to No Sleep Records back in April, Boston’s Aviator have been busy at work promoting and getting ready for the release of their latest full-length Head In The Clouds, Hands In The Dirt since it was announced to the public.

More recently, they secured themselves a spot on the first ever NSR tour alongside Rescuer and The Felix Culpa and earlier this month, the band premiered a music video for third track, “There Was A Light (It Went Out)” on Brooklyn Vegan.

Major League Announce New Album, Premiere New Song “Pillow Talk”

New Jersey’s new pop punkers Major League have been hard at work in the studio with Will Yip in prepping for their upcoming record. This effort features Brian Joyce on vocals after their former singer Nick Trask’s departure from the band.

The band announced that the title of the album will be There’s Nothing Wrong With Me and it is set for release on November 4 via No Sleep Records. The band also premiered the first single off the album, entitled “Pillow Talk,” over at AltPress. You can stream it below.

Run Forever Signs To No Sleep Records

After releasing a split earlier this year with Adventures on No Sleep Records, the Pittsburgh, PA four-piece known as Run Forever have officially announced their signing to the California label.

The band revealed that they are currently in the studio with Matt Talbot (Hum) recording an EP for this winter and a LP slated for release next year.

Regarding the singing, No Sleep founder Chris Hansen had this to say:

Aviator is a five-piece post-hardcore band from Boston that has been releasing music through EPs, splits and singles since 2010. Xerxes Stream “Chestnut Street” From ‘Collision Blonde’

La Dispute meets Drug Church in a new, very No Sleep-esque jam from Louisville, KY’s Xerxes. Honoring “an influential strip of road” from Calvin Philley’s younger days, the vocalist recently explained to Spin that “Chestnut Street” was an area where he spent some time around the age of 21 and “began and ended a few relationships that were pretty formative in the ways that [he views] love and sex and being.”

Those notions are wholly present in the emotional vocal delivery and the overall tone of the song, which you can stream below.
