Volumes and Glass Cloud Embarking on Short Southwest Tour

Volumes and Glass Cloud will be hitting up the West Coast and parts of the Southwest next month for a grand total of eight days with Beyond The Shore.

“It’s a tour many of you have been requesting for some time now… We are finally teaming up with our friends in Volumes and Beyond The Shore for a west coast run!” Glass Cloud posted to Facebook.

STREAM: Tegan and Sara – “Shock To Your System”

Indie-pop Canadian sisters, Tegan and Sara released a brand new song entitled “Shock To Your System” off of their forthcoming Warner Bros release, Heartthrob.

In support of the new album, the duo will be heading out on tour later this month starting in Richmond, Virginia on January 25. The tour will make its way up into Canada and through the Midwest to Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 11. Tickets can be purchased through Tegan and Sara’s Facebook.

Senses Fail To Tour With Such Gold, Real Friends and Major League; Releasing Covers EP

In support of their upcoming release, Renacer, Senses Fail will head out on tour during April and May with Such Gold, Real Friends and Major League. Renacer, the band’s fifth full-length release, is set to drop on March 26 via Staple Records.

The tour, sponsored by Purevolume, will begin on April 3 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, making its way around the country and ending on May 11 in Senses Fail’s home state, New Jersey. Crystal Castles Announce Spring Tour Dates

Crystal Castles will be heading out on tour in support of their third studio album, III, this spring.

The tour will kick off in Miami as the band makes appearances at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival on March 15 and 25. After that, Crystal Castles will hit the road on April 17, beginning in Atlanta, Georgia. The tour will then continue to make it’s way around the U.S., landing in Boston, Massachusetts on May 13.

Silverstein to Record New Album, Tour in 2013

Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein have announced on their facebook that they are going to record and tour in 2013. The band has one date left on their current tour, and will then begin recording.

Silverstein released their sixth album, Short Songs, back in February. The album was unique in that no song was longer than 96 seconds in time.

New England hardcore act VERSE have announced they are reforming and (in our own words) tackling the world once more in 2012.

Originally disbanding in 2009, Verse announced their reformation earlier today on Bridge9′s official website. VERSE vocalist Sean Murphy commented, “I think it just really came down to us missing playing music and the chemistry we shared in our creative process. Jack’s Mannequin have announced plans to tour in early 2012 with support from Jukebox The Ghost.

The Crimson Armada have parted ways with long time band-mate Chris Yates and have brought on Kevin Lankford to try and fill his shoes. Yates has left due to undisclosed personal reasons. The band does state that they are indeed still friends with their former bassist, so it was possibly a rough split.
