Incubus Will Be Releasing Two New EPs in 2015

After a quiet couple years, with side/solo projects taking over much of that time, renowned alternative rockers Incubus are ready to make a big comeback for 2015. This is the newest material the band has recorded since 2011′s If Not Now, When? which was released on Epic Records.

This time around, the band has signed with Island Records and will be releasing two EPs through the course of the year, with production done by the band themselves. The two EPs will contain enough songs on each release to combine into an album, with the first one coming out as early …

“Sugah Daddy” is a brassy new track that found its way online early Sunday morning, December 14. The track is the first to surface off Black Messiah, which D’Angelo is planning to release tonight at midnight. The twelve track release will be the first new material to surface from the “How Does …

Joanna Newsom Will Share First New Music in Five Years “Soon”

Folk harpist and singer-songwriter Joanna Newsom has been pretty silent over the last few years. After tying the knot with Andy Samberg, making a cameo on Portlandia, and starring in the new Paul Thomas Anderson film, she’s been laying relatively low. With the release of her massive record Have One On Me, a two-hour saga of whimsical fairy folk, in 2010, it was safe to assume she needed time to work on an adequate follow-up. Now, as FACT points out, that material may be on its way.

In a new interview with Dazed, she said …

Seaway-All-In-My-Head-EP

REVIEW: Seaway – ‘All In My Head’ EP

Artist: Seaway
Album: All In My Head
Genre: Pop Punk

I love a good album as much as the next person, but there is something far more exciting about stumbling across an almost perfect EP. When you only have four or five songs to work with, every note of every song matters. These releases can make or break careers, and in the case of Seaway’s latest release it seems an extended play may be just what the band needs in order to reach the next echelon of pop-punk popularity.…

SINGLE REVIEW: Bring Me The Horizon – “Drown”

Artist: Bring Me The Horizon
Song: “Drown
Album: TBA

Eighteen months have passed since Bring Me The Horizon released their critically acclaimed album Sempiternal, and in that time the band has rarely had more than a moment to rest. From appearances, to sold out performances around the world, the men of Bring Me The Horizon have spent very little time at home in the last year. Somewhere along the line they did manage to enter the studio, albeit only long enough to produce one new song, and earlier this week that material found its way online.

Damon Albarn Hints At New Gorillaz Album in 2016

Damon Albarn has been busy this year promoting his debut solo album, Everyday Robots, which was met with high praise upon release. This means he is keeping the status of famed UK rock outfit Blur under wraps, where he serves as frontman for the band. Most recently though, he came out of the clouds with another project that could once again see the light of day: The virtual cartoon band we know as Gorillaz.

According to Albarn in an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, he has stated that he is in the “process of reactivating” the …
