New Found Glory Hopeless

New Found Glory Sign To Hopeless Records; New Album Due This Fall

Among Hopeless Records’ streak of new signings comes a group we’ve heard plenty of over for over 15 years: New Found Glory. News of the band’s signing initially broke out through an Instagram post made by guitarist/vocalist Chad Gilbert, which was subsequently followed by a post made by their new label.

The Florida pop-punk outfit will start tracking this currently untitled record at the beginning of June. For the first time in their history, this will all be handled as a four-piece in light of Steve Klein’s departure late last year.

On semi-unrelated note, today marks the ten-year …

New Found Glory And Steve Klein’s Attorney Comment On His Litigation

News broke today that New Found Glory‘s now-former guitarist, Steve Klein, is having charges brought against him on various felonies including possession of underage pornography. The internet has exploded with speculation, and now Klein’s former band and his attorney have made statements on the situation. The band’s was brief, but they explained that as soon as they heard he may have some legal issues they parted ways with him.

New Found Glory announced on Facebook December 12, 2013 that they had officially parted ways with guitarist and founding member Steve Klein. There had been rumors about the reason for the split ever since the announcement was made, but the band would only say that they no longer felt they could work together.

New Found Glory Announce Pop Punk’s Not Dead UK Tour

Back in 2011, New Found Glory launched the Pop Punk’s Not Dead Tour, which boasted a stacked lineup (The Wonder Years, Set Your Goals, Man Overboard, and This Time Next Year opened that run) and a typically great set from the veteran headliners. Three years later, with pop punk still alive but thriving, the Pop Punk’s Not Dead Tour will return for two weeks of dates in the United Kingdom. This time around, the bill features The Story So Far, Candy Hearts, Only Rivals, and a special guest to be announced in May.

The tour kicks off …

Steve Klein Is No Longer A Member Of New Found Glory

The pop punk world is confused and a bit sad today following the announcement that longtime guitarist Steve Klein is no longer a member of New Found Glory.

Taking to Facebook late Wednesday night, the remaining members of New Found Glory informed fans about Klein’s departure via open letter. The group cited growing differences between themselves and Klein, which we can only assume came to a head in recent weeks. You can read their full message below:

REVIEW: New Found Glory – ‘Kill It Live’

Artist: New Found Glory

New Found Glory have held a firm footing on the alternative music scene for the better part of 15+ years, and in that time, they haven’t released one live album prior to Kill It Live, and they went all out to do it all in the most fitting way possible with two back to back shows at Southern California’s Chain Reaction venue.
