Tyler The Creator Announces ‘Cherry Bomb,’ Shares New Songs

‘Tis the season for surprise album releases.

Following Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Earl Sweatshirt, Odd Future mastermind Tyler, The Creator has become the latest member of the hip-hop community to reveal plans for a surprise album release. Tyler’s third studio album, Cherry Bomb, will be released worldwide on April 14. Pre-orders are available now on iTunes, and each order comes with an instant download of two new tracks. Both songs, “Deathcamp” and “Fucking Young,” can be streamed in full at the end of this post.

Since the release of 2012’s Channel ORANGE, Frank Ocean has kept a somewhat low profile, occasionally gracing fans with singles while never fully elaborating on his plans for the future. Desaparecidos Stream Lead Single Off Upcoming Album

Back in 2001, Bright Eyes frontman Conor Oberst started a side project named Desaparecidos. The group released only one full-length album in 2002, titled Read Music/Speak Spanish. After that, the group didn’t stay very active – much to the disappointment of their fans. That is going to change this summer though, as the band has finally announced a new album.
