Original post: Michigan hard rock juggernaut Pop Evil have shared the first single from their upcoming album, and I’m willing to bet it’s not what you were expecting them to deliver.

SINGLE REVIEW: We Came As Romans – “The World I Used To Know”

Artist: We Came As Romans
Song: “The World I Used To Know”
Album: Self-Titled

The evolution of We Came As Romans is entangled with the band’s own passion for storytelling and inspirational lyricism. Their journey is their song, and their songs detail their journey. Having long conquered the world of post-hardcore with multiple albums featuring top shelf production and the perfect combination of sing/scream vocals, the group have now stripped their music to its core, and through doing so found a new sound that marks the beginning of yet another chapter in their already celebrated career.

The Weeknd Drops “The Hills”

The Weeknd may still be enjoying the success of his single “Earned It,” but he’s back today with a new single and video fans are sure to enjoy.

“The Hills” arrives online just two days after a number of unexpected leaks from The Weeknd hit the net (including the incredible “I Can’t Feel My Face“). Whether this release is a response to those leaks or an attempt to better control the conversation remains unclear, but the quality of this material is undeniable. There is very little to the song that is outside the typical sound of …

RATATAT Announce New Album, ‘Magnifique’

Back in April, Ratatat set the internet ablaze with “Cream On Chrome,” a funky, upbeat single that served as the duo’s first new track in five years. As of today, I am pleased to report that this is indeed the case. Ratatat will release their fifth full-length studio album, Magnifique, on July 17 through XL Recordings. The LP4 follow-up will feature 14 brand new tracks, including the outfit’s …

UTG INTERVIEW: Old Again Discuss Their Debut LP and Relationship With Fronz

Just like every band to come before them and every band after, Orlando, FL’s Old Again have come from the humblest of beginnings in house shows and small-cap venues. But there have been three huge things that have helped separate them from the rest: Their ambitious twist on modern pop-punk, their opportunistic mentality, and last but not least, their constant drive to tour as much as possible.

Most likely, you first heard of the group this past December when they were announced as the first signing to Stay Sick Records, an imprint launched by the controversial (but perhaps not all …
