The post reads: “We are so sorry, but since Björk is already working on her next album (out in 2015!) she can not come to the ‘Biophilia Live’ premiere at the London Film Festival this week.”…

Over the last few years, Chad Ubovich played as a member of Ty Segall and Mikal Cronin’s respective backing bands. Now, he’s finally getting the center spotlight. It drops October 14 via In The Red, but for now the album is streaming in full over at NPR.

Jason-Aldean-Old-Boots-New-Dirt

REVIEW: Jason Aldean – ‘Old Boots, New Dirt’

Artist: Jason Aldean
Album: Old Boots, New Dirt
Genre: New Country

After weeks spent atop the country music charts with his hit single “Burnin’ It Down,” Jason Aldean has prepared a hit-and-miss collection of material for his sixth studio album.

Looking at Jason Aldean it’s hard to believe he has been a music industry mainstay for a decade (and counting). He’s got just enough of a baby face to sell perpetual youth, and it certainly doesn’t hurt that the vast majority of his material deals with things like falling in love, staying out all night, and working hard for a …

Stars No One Is Lost Single

ALBUM STREAM: Stars – ‘No One Is Lost’

In one week, Canadian indie rock outfit Stars will drop their newest LP, No One Is Lost. We’ve heard a slew of singles like “No One Is Lost” and “From The Night” (which got a joyous music video) so far, but now the whole album is streaming in full on NPR.

No One Is Lost was recorded above a discotheque and, as such, has taken on a lot of fun, throbbing beats that were unavoidably influential. It’s their danciest album to date. According to the group, the record “prioritizes lightness and bittersweet uplift over the devastation …

Greylag

Stream Greylag’s Excellent Debut Album in Full

On October 14, Portland folk rock trio Greylag drop their debut self-titled LP on Dead Oceans. We’ve been eyeing the release with hungry hearts, completely devouring what we’ve heard so far, so it’s with happiness that it’s time to announce their album is streaming in full here.

Deep underneath their acoustic strumming and boot-stomping beats is heartfelt songwriting that’s seen more revisions than a dozen hands can count. The three men craft songs that lay comfortably between Band of Horses and Fleet Foxes on songs like “Yours to Shake” and “Another.” Thanks to help from …

Wu-Tang Clan Announce Release Date for ‘A Better Tomorrow’

The new Wu-Tang Clan album is on its way. According to REVOLT, the group’s new album, A Better Tomorrow, is set to be released December 2 via Warner Bros. “Our mission is to inspire a better tomorrow,” RZA told them. He also sat down with Billboard to talk a bit more about the album.

Apparently the record was recorded in Memphis and will have 3000 Wu-edition Boombot Rex versions (which is delivered on a portable speaker platform and includes two unavailable-on-album instrumentals and song “Big Horn B”). RZA told Billboard he got the idea when thinking about how …

Joey Badass

Hear Two New Joey Bada$$ Singles “Get Paid” and “Christ Conscious”

Hip hop is getting some sharp songs today. Brooklyn MC Joey Bada$$ is on the brink of dropping his debut LP, B4.DA.$$, that’s already given us a peak of his upcoming official sound with “Big Dusty.” Now we’re getting a look farther into the record with outtake “Get Paid” and lead single “Christ Conscious.”

The raucous “Get Paid” sees Joey Bada$$ laying down the law and nailing his usual lines. The fact that this got cut from the record sets the bar pretty high for what will stay in the tracklist. Now that “Christ Conscious” is in our …

Story Of The Year Post Long Update On The Band’s Future, Part Ways With Bassist

Classic post-hardcore band Story Of The Year have been a little quiet since coming back from hiatus and touring relentlessly throughout the country in regards to the ten-year anniversary of Page Avenue last year. Also, they released a completely stripped down acoustic version of the record titled Page Avenue: 10 Years And Counting that same year. This is where the “counting” part of that title comes into play in the present day of the band.

The band posted on their Facebook today a rather lengthy update in regards to their overall take on the music industry. Key details that were …
