The artists that brought us the fantastic Vessel from 2013 are back with a new album this spring. Ohio what-genre-is-this duo, Twenty One Pilots, have just announced that they will be putting out the much-awaited Blurryface on May 19 via Fueled By Ramen.

Below you will be able to find the new music video for their brand new single, called “Fairly Local.” Notorious for the wide array of sounds they create, this new song showcases the rap/electronic aspect that the two integrate very well into their alternative/pop aesthetic.

Of Monsters And Men Announce New Album, Stream “Crystals”

Less than a week has passed since Mumford And Sons shared the first taste of their post-folk sound, and now it seems Of Monsters And Men want to prove they too have evolved since their debut. The band just announced a new album titled Beneath The Skin, and earlier today they shared a lyric video for the record’s first single.

I don’t know what I expected from “Crystals,” but I can promise you it wasn’t the song you’re about to hear. Of Monsters And Men have not completely abandoned the sound that made them top 40 mainstays, but like …

Earl Sweatshirt Announces New Album, Shares First Single

Following Drake and Kendrick Lamar‘s surprise album release efforts, Earl Sweatshirt has revealed that his new album will arrive in seven days (or less).

Late last night, iTunes added a pre-order page for a new Earl Sweatshirt album titled I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside. The record is scheduled for release next Tuesday, March 23, which is the same date Kendrick Lamar originally teased for his new joint (before releasing it earlier this week without warning). Fans were quick to celebrate the news, but a lengthy rant from Earl on Twitter earlier today made it seem …

REVIEW: Bobby Meader Music – ‘Breakfast After Noon’ EP

Artist: Bobby Meader Music
Title: Breakfast After Noon EP
Label: Antique Records
Genre: Acoustic, Punk

When we are left alone with our thoughts and an acoustic guitar, the most significant bits of our memories come crawling in and we are forced to say “hello.” In the case of Nevada-bred singer-songwriter Bobby Meader, he is greeted with a resonating “What’s the deal with all of us fucking up all the things we love?”

This is taken from “I Don’t Understand,” the introduction to his most recent four-track offering, entitled Breakfast After Noon. Injected with honest lyricism and muffled folk/punk …

You Me And Everyone We Know 2013

Stream You, Me, And Everyone We Know’s New EP, ‘Dogged’

You, Me, And Everyone We Know is scheduled to release their brand new EP next week, March 17. Frontman Ben Liebsch, along with a number of his friends who helped bring this six-track to life, have been very thrilled to finally be putting out Dogged via South By Sea.

Very evident in his songwriting is the fact that it has been a very rough few years for Liebsch. Despite this, however, he has clearly made the best out of the wild ride and created something good and something from the bottom of his heart. Liebsch puts it best when he …

Muse Get “Psycho” on New Track From ‘Drones’

Just yesterday, Muse announced their seventh studio album Drones would be released on June 9. Today, the band has offered up our first taste of new music from their follow-up to 2012′s The 2nd Law in the form of the groovy mid-tempo rocker “Psycho.”

After experimenting with everything from progressive rock to dubstep on their past few releases, Muse has suggested Drones would mark a return to the more hard rocking sound of their earlier records. “Psycho” seems to confirm just that. While the song’s message and lyrics come across as ham-fisted and borderline juvenile, the track should appeal …

Tame Impala Release New Single “Let It Happen,” Announce Massive U.S. Tour

It has sort of been a given that we’d get a new album from Australian psych-rockers Tame Impala this year since their name started popping up on seemingly every major festival lineup this spring and summer, from Coachella and Sasquatch! to Shaky Knees and Boston Calling. And while the band still hasn’t officially announced the new album’s title or release date, they’ve offered up our first taste of new material in the form of the nearly 8-minute epic, “Let it Happen.”

The sprawling, synth-y track is said to be the first track on the band’s upcoming third LP and follow-up …

Jamie Foxx Shares “Pretty Young Thing” (Prod. By DJ Mustard)

Jamie Foxx is a jack of all trades when it comes to the world of entertainment. He sings, he dances, and he acts, though I’m not sure he’s ever successfully mixed all three outside of his performance in Ray, and it appears he will soon have a new album on shelves.

Rumors were persistent throughout 2014 that Foxx had been spending a lot of time working on new material in various recording studios around the globe. No album has surfaced as of yet, nor has any official announcement of one being planned been made, but in recent days a …

The Early November Announce New Album, Stream New Single & Unveil Tour Dates With Lydia & Restorations

New Jersey alternative rock outfit The Early November have just announced that they will be putting out a new record at the end of Spring. Imbue, which is due out on May 12, will be serving as the band’s second full-length record since their reformation in 2011, and their fourth record overall.

In anticipation of the follow-up record to 2012′s In Currents, the band has just unveiled the first single, entitled “Narrow Mouth.” Reminiscent of Foo Fighters but unmistakably TEN, “Narrow Mouth” makes a statement that tells us all that the band is more alive than ever. The …

Hear Paul de Jong’s New Single “This Is Who I Am”

On April 28, Paul de Jong will drop his debut LP, IFvia Temporary Residence. Pre-orders are ongoing here. De Jong, who was one half of experimental duo The Books back in the 2000s, can work his cello through and through with ease, digging the bow into its strings to pull out some silver, liquid magic that feels strangely familiar. Though The Books are long gone, Paul de Jong’s return to the scene marks a revival of The Lemon of Pink style of playing. New single “This Is Who I Am” confirms that return to sound.

Collage-pop marks …
