Adrian Garza Back in March 2012 when Joe Lengson announced in a lengthy blog post he would be leaving the band MyChildren MyBride, he made a quick mention that he was already in the midst of starting a new band that would be neither metal or hardcore. Nine months later, he made a debut of his latest indie/folk project, The Woodsman’s Babe, with the release of his latest song, “Red Or White”.

May 22nd, 2012 Grant Trimboli MyChildren MyBride have unleashed the heavy music video for their song “God Of Nothing” and it definitely sends a strong message.
This song is off of the band’s latest self-titled release through Solid State Records so go pick it up now. The band is covered in mass amounts of a gooey black substance and was shot performing this video. We have a feeling this one will stand out for many weeks to come on the site.

March 7th, 2012 James Shotwell Mychildren Mybride have unleashed another song from their forthcoming self-titled release.

Exploring far darker, more experimental tones than 98% of their catalog, “God Of Nothing” is a bold step into new territory for MCMB. I do not know what I was expecting, but this is far better than anything they have dropped to date. Hear for yourself, after the jump.

February 15th, 2012 Grant Trimboli Sioux City metal outfit For Today have announced that they will be releasing their forthcoming album, Immortal, on May 22 through Razor & Tie. The band is streaming their first studio update from the recording sessions and can be viewed by clicking through the jump. This video focuses on the advancement of the band and the different drumming equipment David uses in the studio.

January 24th, 2012 James Shotwell Mychildren Mybride have announced plans to release their third studio album on March 13.
The album, which will be self-titled, was announced earlier today via press release. It was the record over the winter with Producer Zeuss (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall) and is promoted as being “a hard-hitting, experimental, cinematic opus that will set a fire in the hearts of old and new fans alike.”
In celebration of the release, Mychildren Mybride are joining For Today, Skylit Drive, and others on the “Fight The Silence” tour. You can view a complete list of tour dates below:

November 22nd, 2011 Grant Trimboli I can certainly understand why this music video from I Declare War has stemmed much controversy. Their new video for the song “March On” shows us how a masked religious teacher takes abuse to the next level by hitting his/her students.
