Van Halen, Motley Crue Tickets Both Averaging Just Under $200

Nostalgia is all the rage this fall, and major tours from Motley Crue and Van Halen are leading the pack for hot throwback tours.

Los Angeles-based 80s rock group Motley Crue is calling it quits as soon as their tour wraps up, and so they have adequately penned their concluding run as the The Final Tour. And for fans who doubt that the end is truly near, the band signed a “tour cessation” agreement to promise to never tour again after their run finishes up in December.

Currently, a ticket to see Motley Crue and opening act Alice Cooper is …

Motley Crue Stream Final Single (Ever), “All Bad Things”

Motley Crue made headlines earlier this week when they revealed a slew of new tour dates that will extend their final tour as a band until New Year’s Eve 2015. Last night, they took the hype surrounding their final bow one step further by sharing the video for their final single ever. Much to our surprise, it kind of rocks.

“All Bad Things” is a track born out of the singles that made Motley Crue a household name. It’s a fun, riff-heavy rock thrill ride that boasts a catchy chorus even your grandmother could learn in a single refrain. On …

Smashing Pumpkins’ Drummer Replaced By Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee

Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan recently spoke with Music Radar about being honored with the AP Vanguard Award at the inaugural AP Music Awards, their new album, and the future of the band. During that interview, he confirmed that drummer Mike Byrne has left. “Tommy Lee is the drummer on the [Monuments to an Elegy],” he said. “Mike, like Elvis, has left the building.”

When Smashing Pumpkins announced they would be putting out two new records in 2015, there was word of Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee stepping onboard to drum. Now, after Corgan’s statement, the rumors regarding …

Motley Crue Plan To Continue Recording After ‘Final’ Tour

The show must go on (even if the live element does not).

The members of Motley Crue have been doing a lot of press since the late-January announcements of their ‘Final’ tour. Not many of these interviews have made national headlines, but comments from Vince Neil during a recent conversation with 93.3 KDKB in Phoenix has long-time fans shouting at the devil with joy. Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.

Speaking on whether or not the band had any plans for the future aside from their ‘final’ outing, Vince Neil said “Mötley Crüe will still be around, we’re just not gonna …

Motley Crue Sign Legal Cessation Of Touring Agreement, Will Never Play Together After 2015

Yesterday we brought you the news that Mötley Crüe have announced their final tour ever, and ticket-buyers everywhere are wary that the group will inevitably reunite in a few years. All fears can be put aside however, as the band has confirmed at a press conference in LA that they have signed a “cessation of touring agreement.”

The document, most likely a PR stunt to increase ticket sales to their final romp as the Crue, prevents Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Vince Neil, and Tommy Lee from ever reuniting after their final tour ends in 2015. If you’ve ever wanted …

Tommy Lee Not Participating In Meet And Greets On Motley Crue’s Farewell Tour

Fans hoping to meet Motley Crue on their final tour will be excited to learn the band is offering VIP ticket packages that include meet and greet sessions, but it appears not every member of the band will be participating.

Motley Crue announced plans to embark on their farewell tour year yesterday afternoon, and at 10AM this morning pre-sales began in many markets nationwide. To help move a few extra tickets at a premium, Motley Crue also unveiled a four-tiered set of VIP ticket packages that will go on sale later this week. The two top packages, both costing over …

Motley Crue Confirm ‘Final Tour,’ Reveal Routing

Motley Crue held their highly-anticipated news conference in Los Angeles this afternoon, and as expected they announced plans to embark on their final tour later this year.

Dubbed ‘The Final Tour,’ Motley Crue’s last run together will see them visiting arenas around the globe over the course of several months. The aging metal outfit will kick things off this summer with a July 2 performance in Grand Rapids, then proceed to visit many cities around the nation before taking their show overseas. Alice Cooper will serve as direct support.

The tour dates for Motley Crue’s final run were …

Motley Crue’s ‘Final Tour’ To Feature Support From Alice Cooper

All bad things must come to an end.

There has been talk about Motley Crue throwing in the towel in 2014 for well over six months at this point, and on January 28 the group has planned a press conference in Los Angeles to outline just what that outing will entail. Unfortunately, a new image making the rounds online seems to have revealed one of the tour’s biggest surprises a little sooner than planned.

A new tweet from Eddie Trunk – co-host of the VH1 Classic television program That Metal Show who has a long-running radio show, “Eddie Trunk Rocks” …

Motley Crue Plotting 2014 Farewell Tour

Are you ready to “Shout At The Devil” one last time?

Speaking with RollingStone recently, Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil revealed the band is in the early stages of planning a farewell tour for 2014.

“We’ll do one more time around the world and kinda call it quits,” Neil said. “It’s just that time. We’re going out on top. We don’t want to be some band that people are like, ‘Oh, they’re playing a club now,’ that kind of band. We still sell out arenas, have stadium stuff and things like that, so let’s go out when it’s a big …

No One Will Ever Top The Audacity And Ratchetness Of Diplo’s Rider

Page Six, the vaunted gossip section of the New York Post, got a hand on producer Diplo’s rider and boy, is it a doozy. Right up there with the great tour riders of yore from the likes of Mötley Crüe and Van Halen.

For those not in the know, the rider is a document that will outline requests and requirements that a band will need for their tour. This can be light arrangements and stage design schematics or, more infamously, alcohol, drugs, and if you’re Limp Bizkit, light fixtures with dimmer switches.

So what would a …

Costume-clad rockers Black Veil Brides have been forced to cancel the remaining dates of the band’s  tour with Slash and Mötley Crüe. Due to the passing of front man Andy’s grandfather the band has decided to wrap tour early so that Andy can return home to be with family and friends.

Under The Gun sends our condolences to Andy and his family and hope to see BVB back on the road real soon. Check out the statement from Andy below and be sure to keep him and his family in your thoughts.
