Mod Sun Announces Winter Tour

The hip-hop hippie, and one of the most down to earth people in music today, Mod Sun has announced a winter tour kicking off this coming February. Featuring support from Cisco Adler, Pat Brown, Tayyib Ali, and select dates with Choo Jackson, this tour promises to be one heck of a party.

Mod Sun Releasing Book In December

Mod Sun has revealed plans to release his first book, Did I Ever Wake Up?, this December. Details are slim at this point, but from what we’ve learned from his (very) often updated Twitter feed is that the hippie hop pioneer has been working on the book since at least Summer. Pre-orders have yet to begin, but according to a tweet sent earlier this evening, Mod is planning to sign and personalize every pre-order once they go live this Wednesday.

Never Shout Never Announce New Tour Dates

Never Shout Never will be heading out on tour this fall to support their new album, Indigo, which drops November 13 via Loveway Records.

Man Overboard, Mod Sun and Me Like Bees will join the band on the first half of the tour. Helping to finish the tour up will be Plug In Stereo, William Beckett and Anarbor. Check out the dates and venues below.

MUSIC VIDEO: Meech Ft. Mod Sun – “No Chaser”

Up and coming rapper Meech has recruited the king of hippie hop for his latest single, “No Chaser,” and today we have the official music video. The song carries a lighthearted feel, with a very laid back beat that comes complete with harmonica (not kidding). Warped Tour In A Day: Auburn Hills, Michigan

Warped Tour 2012 had finally arrived in Auburn Hills, Michigan on July 6 and the UTG crew was ready to take on this great day of live music from some of our favorite bands. The morning started off fairly slow due to the fact that UTG staff member JP and I spent half the night waiting for our good friends Larry G(EE) tour bus to arrive. There is nothing like partying a little too hard before spending 8 hours in 100+ degree heat.
