We haven’t heard much from Minus The Bear since their 2012 release, Infinity Overhead. Today, Minus The Bear unleashed their new song, “Walk On Air,” from the soundtrack to the highly anticipated video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us.

 If their last album wasn’t necessarily your thing, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to hear shades of classic Minus The Bear on this track. It could easily be an album cut from their 2007 release, Planet of Ice, or even their debut album, Highly Refined Pirates.  We’ll let you be the judge.

Circa Survive and Minus The Bear had been teasing a big announcement through their Facebook earlier today and after letting speculation run wild for a little bit, here it is.

The Waves Overhead tour will see the two co-headliners make a run through most of the contiguous United States in March with special guest Now, Now providing support.

Minus The Bear Announce US Tour

Seattle indie rockers Minus The Bear have announced a tour of the entire US, kicking off early this fall and running all the way  until mid November. The band will be touring in support of their upcoming album Infinity Overhead, due out August 28 on Dangerbird Records.

Indie rock outfit Minus The Bear have released a brand new song titled “Lonely Gun”. The new track is off of the Seattle rocker’s upcoming album Infinity Overhead due out August 28 on Dangerbird Records.

Minus The Bear Announce Infinity Overhead

Indie rockers Minus The Bear have announced their fifth full-length album, Infinity Overhead, which is due for release August 28 via Dangerbird Records.

The band have unveiled a teaser trailer to announce the album and if it doesn’t convince you that Infinity Overhead is likely to be one of 2012′s best, then we don’t know what will. With just over a minute of visuals and a snippet of their song “Diamond Lightning”, this trailer definitely gets us excited. It sounds like Minus The Bear, as it should, and that’s enough for us!
