Michael Jackson Estate Denies New Molestation Accusations

A man by the name of Wade Robson recently filed papers against Michael Jackson’s estate claiming he was molested during the years he spent hanging out around MJ as a youth. The documents Wade’s attorney filed are sealed, so unfortunately they are unavailable to the public at this time. Jackson’s estate has responded calling Wade’s claims against the late singer “outrageous and pathetic.” You can read a quote on the situation from Michael Jackson’s estate lawyer, Howard Weitzman, by taking a look below the jump.

Phoenix Flesh Out The Details Regarding Their New Album ‘Bankrupt!’

Spin has shared some of the details on French indie pop magnates Phoenix’s upcoming album Bankrupt!

Yes, that’s the sweet album artwork to the left. And that’s going to be a wrap on fruit-related wordplay.

Bankrupt! will be released stateside on April 23. The followup to the group’s 2009 breakthrough release Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, Bankrupt! will be Phoenix’s fifth album and their second with Glassnote Records. The album was produced by longtime collaborator of the group Phillippe Zdar and was mixed on the same board used during the sessions for Michael Jackson’s Thriller (!!!).

Making the news once again, is pop-rock band, Panic! At The Disco. Last night in Newcastle, UK the band covered Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean.” The band covered this song a year ago while playing shows over seas. I would like to say this cover has definitely improved from their first time covering it live in May 2011.

Panic! At The Disco are currently touring in the UK, up until February 2nd. If you live in the UK, definitely make it out to one of the shows, it will be a great time!
