UTG LIST: 10-Year Album Anniversaries We Want To See Celebrated In 2014

The majority of our staff was in high school a decade back and as 10-year anniversary tours have seemingly become a staple in the genres we held closest to our hearts at the time (and still), we’ve grown to accept this fact and find it only appropriate that we again look back and pinpoint our favorite albums from a simpler time that we would love to see celebrated in the form of a tour, select shows, or at the very least, get a first-time vinyl treatment or reissue.

2013 was a massive year for bands and fans alike in terms …

Max Bemis Working On Two Additional Comic Book Series

The frontman of Say Anything, Max Bemis, is a busy guy. He not only spends his time writing catchy tunes for the band, but he is also in another one with his wife, called Perma. On top of that, he wrote a successful comic book series known as Polarity. He’s now announced that he has two more series in the works, and after reading the Polarity series I think it’s safe to say these new comics are going to be awesome. You can check out a couple of tweets by Bemis confirming there are some upcoming comics …

Max Bemis Announces Solo Tour With Matt Pryor And Sherri DuPree

Max Bemis, front man for Say Anything, did a solo acoustic show in support of his rarities release before the full band went on tour. This winter, Bemis will head out on a full fledged solo tour with his main support being Matt Pryor of the Get Up Kids, Sherri DuPree from Eisley, Perma (the band of Max and Sherri), and Merriment. Given no new Say Anything releases, it’s hard to predict what the setlist will be, but it’s safe to guess songs based around songwriting rather than guitar solos and what not. He’s even hinted at doing some …

Max Bemis Promises Another Two Tongues Album Some Time “Within The Next Couple Years”

Max Bemis, principal singer and songwriter for literate, heart-rending pop punk act Say Anything, stated on Twitter today that he’s not done with his long dormant Two Tongues project.

A supergroup originally consisting of Bemis, fellow Say Anything member Coby Linder, Saves The Day frontman Chris Conley, and ex-Saves The Day guitarist David Soloway, Two Tongues only put out one self-titled album way, way back in 2009.

But just because we haven’t heard anything from the group in a couple years doesn’t mean that we should count on them not coming back, according to the tweet from Bemis …
