James Shotwell Maroon 5′s signature brand of dance-laden pop rock is not exactly rocket science. The band found a sound that worked well early in their career and have stuck with it. There is nothing inherently wrong with that, but sometimes it does make them a bit predictable. Their latest video, however, is another story altogether.
