Sleeping With Sirens Perform “Alone” Live With Machine Gun Kelly

Sleeping With Sirens were filmed performing their new song called “Alone” for the first time, with help from rapper Machine Gun Kelly, in London.

The song was performed on May 16 and does not fall short of energy or charisma. We understand the video quality was not prime but this is the very first performance captured of “Alone.” The song will come off of the group’s forthcoming release, Feel, dropping on June 4 through Rise Records.

Check out the original audio of Sleeping With Sirens’ single right here as well.

Twenty One Pilots

UTG PHOTOS: Twenty One Pilots & New Politics (4/26/13)

Under The Gun’s photographer, Tori Thomas attended the Twenty One Pilots show featuring New Politics and Five Knives at the LC Pavilion in Columbus, OH on April 26, 2013.

I arrived to this show expecting nothing but surprises, especially with this being a hometown show for Twenty One Pilots. First in the lineup was Five Knives, however I was unable to make it in time to see their set. Judging from a previous show I saw them at opening for TOP, I’m sure they set the mood for the evening with a flawless performance.

Next up was New Politics

WATCH: Senses Fail Retire “187″ In New Jersey

After announcing its end on Friday, Senses Fail kept their promise and officially retired their longtime fan favorite “187″ at the Stone Pony in New Jersey last night. We weren’t there, but several diligent SF fans were, and they were kind enough to capture the song’s final bow for the rest of us to enjoy.

I don’t know where I was the first time I heard “187,” but I do remember feeling like vocalist Buddy Nielsen completely understood my broken fifteen-year-old heart. Since that time, “187″ has become one of the quintessential tracks from the “early days of the …

Deftones Cover Kris Kross’ “Jump” In St. Louis

Deftones are no strangers to tragedy. Earlier this month the band said goodbye to founding bassist, Chi Cheng, at age 42 after a car accident in November 2008 left him paralyzed and partially conscious. With his loss still fresh in the mind of the band and music fans around the world, news that Kris Kross member, Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly, passed last night has touched on a wound that had only just begun to heal.

In an attempt to pay tribute to Kelly’s passing, and in a way pay additional tribute to their own fallen comrade, the members of …

James Blake

WATCH: James Blake Performs “Retrograde” Live in Studio

James Blake recently stopped by the KCRW studios in Santa Monica, California to perform a few songs for a group of lucky individuals. If you live in the area and didn’t make the guest list, don’t sweat it. KRCW and NPR was nice enough to record Blake’s appearance, and deliver us a live version of his song, “Retrograde,” from the new album, Overgrown.

The live performance proves that James Blake is more than capable of producing the same quality music that he does on his recordings in a live setting. Many times artists who experiment in the studio are unable …
