Watch Interpol Perform “My Desire” on Conan

Last night, indie rock act Interpol stepped on Conan’s stage to continue supporting El Pintor, their sturdy new LP that reclaims their early 2000s sound. The New York group have had quite a year, from their Governors Ball set to a new tour and getting caught in a snowstorm, yet somehow, despite all of the year’s hectic ups and downs, their performance of “My Desire” is a bright reminder that Interpol have pretty much nailed this year. Check it out after the jump.

While you’re waiting for the commercials to end, catch up on the band’s most recent release: “…

Must See: Watch Attila Perform In A Michigan Backyard In 2008

Everyone has to start somewhere, and for many bands that means playing any show that is willing to have you. Sometimes that means you get to open for cool headliners, but more often than not it means opening a show with an oversized lineup or playing venues your favorite bands would never dare add to their own tour itineraries. This is a story about the latter.

In 2008, Attila were a baby band with breakdowns and bad attitudes to spare. They were far from the genre headliners they are today, and spent a lot of their time booking shows in …

Atreyu Stream ‘Knotfest’ Performance, Announce Another Reunion Show

Atreyu have been making a lot of noise post hiatus with a one-off show at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA and an appearance at Sacramento, CA’s ‘Aftershock Festival.’ This past weekend they played at Slipknot‘s annual Knotfest in San Bernardino, CA and played a rather hit-heavy set for the festival attendees.

With this performance behind them, the band has happily announced another show to celebrate their comeback in playing The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA on December 20. Details are minimal about other shows since the band implied that they are hard work on new material and are demoing …

UTG VIDEO PREMIERE: The Hell – “Take Me Out”

Like many people, we fell in love with The Hell after images of their hilarious merchandise began to make their way around the internet over the summer. Any band with a great sense of humor deserves at least a chance to be heard in my mind, and it did not take long for the entire staff here at UTG to realize The Hell were much more than a few good jokes.

Today, we’ve partnered with the kickass people at Prosthetic Records to premiere the official video for The Hell’s crushing track “Take Me Out.” The clip features live footage from …

Secrets

MUSIC VIDEO: Secrets – “Dance Of The Dead”

Before the release of the deluxe reissue of Fragile Figures, Secrets started performing a new song live. The new song was titled “Dance Of The Dead,” and while we didn’t know it at the time, this was to be one of the three brand new songs to be featured on the reissue. In my opinion, this is the best of the new tracks, and I think there are quite a few fans who agree. The band has been performing it at nearly all of their shows, including this year’s Warped Tour.

The band’s label, Rise Records, had video shot …

Fans are likely well aware that Sleeping With Sirens plan on releasing some new music in the near future. Though there hasn’t been any confirmed singles, release dates or anything along those lines so far, the band started performing a brand new song live. The song is apparently titled “Kick Me,” and you can watch them performing it at the Reading & Leeds Festivals below the break.

Since the band is now playing a new song live, it’s only a matter of time before we either get some information on a new album or they release an audio recording of …

Hands Like Houses

Hands Like Houses Releasing ‘Reimagine’ EP, Stream Lead Single

The fan favorite alternative rock band from down under, Hands Like Houses, released their incredibly successful sophomore studio album last year, titled Unimagine. It’s hard to believe that after all of the touring they’ve done since its release that they’d have time to record any sort of new jam, but it seems that’s exactly what they did. The band announced earlier today that they will release an EP titled Reimagine. The EP will feature “reimagined” versions of songs taken from their last album, and it appears as though they will probably have new titles. Upon making the …

If you’re anything like us, and you haven’t had enough of This Wild Life quite yet, then here’s a brand new video of the band performing “Concrete” live in a studio.
