April 23rd, 2013 Dan Bogosian Super popular and super poppy indie rock band, Dispatch, have announced an upcoming live album. The release will be titled Ain’t No Trip To Cleveland: Vol 1, and come out on June 4.
It should be noted that Dispatch is a band known for their live albums, with fans often preferring live versions to studio versions (and certain songs, like “Cut It Ya Match It,” not having a studio version). The strange part? It’s Volume 1 with no insinuation of a Volume 2, and it is not indicated whether the album was recorded in Cleveland or if the …

April 10th, 2013 Anthony Galasso Deftones released their new lyric video for “Swerve City” yesterday afternoon.
Utilizing footage from old school westerns, the video compliments the song fairly well with eerie vibes.
“Swerve City” is the opening track to the band’s late 2012 release, Koi No Yokan, which can be picked up on iTunes.

February 6th, 2013 Anthony Galasso According to a tweet sent by New Found Glory guitar player, Chad Gilbert, the group is demoing new songs.
“Just finished up 2 more @NewFoundGlory demos for new songs with my man @CyrusBalooki!” the guitar player tweeted.
For a band that was supposed to “go away for a bit” after their fall tour last year, New Found Glory seems to continue to push on. For instance, in addition to these new songs, the group recently announced the California venue where they’ll be recording their live album to be released later this year.

January 30th, 2013 Anthony Galasso New Found Glory will be performing two shows at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California on March 27 and 28. Both of these shows will be recorded for the band’s live album which will be released later this year.
As an added bonus, everyone in attendance at these two shows will have their photo taken to be included in the album artwork.

December 14th, 2012 Anthony Galasso Hot Water Music have teamed up with their former label, No Idea Records, to release the band’s extensive live album, Live In Chicago, on January 15.
The album was recorded at the band’s February 1 and 2, 2008 shows at The Metro in Chicago. Footage on the 80-minute, 24-song live DVD accompanying the album was shot on the second night of the show series.

November 20th, 2012 Dan Bogosian New York rockers Taking Back Sunday have been killing their Tell All Your Friends Tenth Anniversary Tour. They’ve recently let on that there are more plans involving TAYF10 to come: two live albums, one acoustic and one regular. The tour isn’t even over yet, though; at least two UTG staffers are going to Taking Back Sunday shows in the coming week.
The self-released live albums will also be a test to see whether they want to sign with a new label or be a DIY band. Credit goes to sister site PropertyOfZack for digging this one up.

September 13th, 2012 Justin Proper Blogs have been exploding this week with rumors that Led Zeppelin were going to announce a world tour today following the end of a countdown timer the group had placed on their website, but it turns out those sites could not have been more incorrect. The band has recorded about 2 CDs worth of songs that have spanned the band’s entire genre-shattering career at select stops from their farewell tour this past spring for an upcoming live album that’s fittingly titled Anthology. November 10th, 2011 Grant Trimboli The AVA train just does not stop rolling.
Angels & Airwaves have confirmed that a brand new live album as well as a documentary are in the works.
On top of all this released information the band starting to discuss the possibility of a new album, with a feature film attached, that is apparently “much more ambitious” than LOVE was. We are interested to see what direction the film project takes.
