WATCH: A Loss For Words Perform “Piroette” and “Use Somebody” (Kings of Leon Cover)

German music and entertainment site, Stageload, recently had a chance to catch up with A Loss For Words while they make their way through Europe. The band performed “Pirouette” off their 2011 Rise Records release, No Sanctuary, which can be purchased here. Additionally, the band also performed their rendition of Kings of Leon‘s popular single, “Use Somebody”.

The band is currently finishing up their European tour with Cancer and Convois before hitting the road for their semi-national U.S. tour with Hit The Lights, With The Punches and State Champs throughout December. Check out A Loss …

WATCH: Kings of Leon With Eddie Vedder – “The Bucket”

Southern rock band Kings Of Leon were joined on stage recently by Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder to perform the song “The Bucket”.

Bootleg footage has surfaced of the performance. Watch it right here after the jump.

Kings of Leon are also working on their follow up to 2010′s Come Around Sundown. Let’s hope it’s better than Pearl Jam’s last album… Backspacer cannot be unheard. I wish it could.

Tegan And Sara Added To Select Dates On Black Keys Tour

Indie-rock superstars, The Black Keys, have unveiled quite the extensive touring schedule spread out over the next few months. Support for the bands tour is jam packed with talent including acts such as Pearl Jam, the Flaming Lips, Kings of Leon and more (each playing select dates). As if that wasn’t enough of a reason to catch the Keys this fall, the lovely indie duo Tegan and Sara have announced a string of opening October dates in support of the band.

Zac Hanson calls out Kings Of Leon

The finger-pointing has begun against Kings Of Leon and leading the charge is not who you’d think. Zac Hanson, the eldest Hanson brother, has called out KOL for “acting like pricks” in a recent interview with NME. Below you can view one of many statements directed toward the group and their approach toward fans and the music industry.

I’m gonna call somebody out on it – the Kings Of Leon are running some risks. They’re irritating people and you can’t do that too much. Eventually the bad boy image affects fans’ willingness to show up.

Kings Of Leon urging vocalist to enter rehab

US WEEKLY is reporting today that members of Kings Of Leon are urging vocalist Caleb Followill to enter rehab for his problems with alcohol. This comes just under a week after news (and video) of the Kings leaving a Dallas show early due to Caleb not feeling well (though multiple reports are citing alcoholism/drunkeness as a factor) and only days after the group cancelled their remaining tour dates.

They are trying to get Caleb to go to rehab,” a source told the magazine. “[That's why] they ended up canceling the whole tour. He drinks like a fish.”

Kings Of Leon cancel remaining dates of U.S. Tour

An outright shock to all Kings Of Leon fans has just been reported. Lead singer Caleb Followill has been deemed unfit to perform, due to health issues, causing the band to put an abrupt halt on touring life until September 28. Official statements have been released to the public on behalf of KOL.

A representative for the band told reporters:

We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are canceling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion.

The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve,

Kings Of Leon ABANDON show in Dallas (video)

Kings Of Leon frontman Caleb Followill stumbled off stage last night in Dallas, apparently in search of a beer, and never returned to the stage. Followill claimed he wasn’t drunk, just “hot,” but the video clip below will probably lead you to believe otherwise:

As you can see above, Followill left the stage to “grab a beer and puke,” but never returned. Bassist Jared Followill came out to apologize to the jeering crowd, stating his brother was “a little unfit” to carry on with the gig:

Apologies to Kings of Leon

After the very public fued between Glee creator Ryan Murphy and the guys from Kings of Leon, an apology has been officially announced. Murphy had sent out a verbal attack towards the Kings back in January when they declined the rights of their song “Use Somebody,” for use on the show. Read the heartfelt apology here.
