Radiohead have only just begun their 2012 world tour plans and already turned the blogosphere into a madhouse.

Last night, Radiohead kicked off their world tour in Miami to a sold out crowd. During the show, Radiohead performed twenty-one classics, as well as the OK Computer b-side “Meeting In The Aisle,” and two brand new songs. Radiohead Extend “King Of Limbs” World Tour, Announce New Shows

Radiohead have announced plans to extend their already highly successful “King Of Limbs” world tour.

The band, who have long been posterboys for ushering in a new age of direct-to-consumer music business, have have added six shows in Australia and New Zealand for this November. These dates begin at Auckland’s Vector Arena on November 6 and end on November 17 when Radiohead plays the second of two shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena. Click here for ticket information.

Radiohead to perform on Saturday Night Live

Radiohead is slated to perform on the premier of the 37th season of Saturday Night Live on September 24, 2011, which Alec Baldwin will be hosting.

This will be Radiohead’s second time performing as musical guests on SNL, the first being in 2000, where they played the hits “The National Anthem” and “Idioteque” from their album, Kid A. On a related note, this will be Baldwin’s 16th time hosting…

Radiohead‘s Thom Yorke was invited to London’s Plastic People venue to perform a DJ set in which he remixed and premiered new songs from the band.
