WATCH: Kermit And Muppets’ Composer Bret McKenzie Perform “Life’s A Happy Song”

It is officially Muppets week and to celebrate, we thought we could kickstart everyone’s Monday with a song from our friend Kermit The Frog.

Joined by Muppets composer Bret McKenzie, Kermit performs the opening song from the upcoming film, The Muppets. It is entitled “Life’s A Happy Song” and in typical Muppets fashion lives up to its name (and then some…chaos). You can view the clip, courtesy of the New York Times, after the jump.

Forget “The Twilight Saga,” We Want “The Muppet Saga”

There’s a lot of hype surrounding the return of emotionally crippled teenagers in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part One this week, but we’ve found something we think would be much, much better.

[Another] MOVIE TRAILER: The Muppets

A new trailer for The Muppets has arrived online and you can view all the puppet-y fun right here on UTG!

We’ve seen a lot of adds for the upcoming return of The Muppets, but this is actually the first trailer to show anything related to the plot of the film. Apparently Amy Adams and Jason Segel, along with a muppet named Walter, travel from their home (we’re guessing the midwest) to Hollywood in search of the Muppets. Upon arriving, the trio realizes no one cares about The Muppets anymore and then (of course) decide to help them out. …

MOVIE TRAILER: The Muppets

We have brought you a trailer or two already for The Muppets, but we already have another! Due out November 23 (Editor James Shotwell’s birthday), The Muppets marks the first big screen release for the franchise in over a decade. Look below for the latest teaser for the film, entitled “Being Green.”

Obviously making a gag out of advertisements for The Green Lantern, the trailer takes yet another “meta” turn near the end. So far, everything looks great!
