Kanye West Drops “Only One” Video

Kanye West has shared two new songs so far in 2015, and both have showcased surprisingly new sides of his dynamic persona. One of those songs now has a video, and earlier this week Ellen helped Yeezus share those visuals with the world.

It’s hard to believe anyone who cares about Kanye West has yet to hear “Only One.” The song, which was released at the the top of the new year, is written by West from the perspective of his deceased mother. It’s a ballad of sorts, with Beatles member Paul McCartney playing keys to accompany Kanye’s soft croon. …

Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney Just Dropped a New Song Called “FourFiveSeconds”

Out of nowhere, Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney just dropped a new song. The track, called “FourFiveSeconds,” is three minutes of inter-tangled talent that sounds like a stripped-down studio recording, much of which is dominated by Rihanna’s soulful return to the music world. If this is the song Kanye played for radio programmers, we fully support this one getting major airplay.

“FourFiveSeconds” is much more heartfelt than the combination of the three may lead you to expect. McCartney provides the rhythm and backing music on acoustic guitar while Rihanna takes over for most of the verses, occasionally …

Kanye West Drops “Only One” Featuring Paul McCartney

It’s a new year and anything is possible, including a collaborative album from two of music’s biggest living icons.

Late last night, Kanye West surprised the world when he released a new track titled “Only One.” The song is the result of a recent studio collaboration between West and Paul McCartney which, according to a press release dispersed early this morning, will likely produce additional material in the coming months. To be specific, the press release describes today’s single as “the first publicly available recording from what has become a prolific musical collaboration between these two legendary artists.”

Madonna Announces New Album ‘Rebel Heart’ Feat. Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, and Diplo

When Madonna‘s demos leaked earlier this week, she was rightfully devastated. The pop icon called it an “artistic rape” and a “form of terrorism,” but now she’s fighting back by announcing the album officially and dropping six tracks to stream.

Her new album, titled Rebel Heart, drops March 10 via Interscope and sees help from Kanye West, Diplo, and Nicki Minaj (who hops on the fiercely titled “Bitch I’m Madonna”). Supposedly, Madonna also worked with Sophie, Blood Diamonds, DJ Dahi, and maybe even Ariel Pink. More of the album’s songs will be out on February 9.

Pusha T Shares Found Footage Video For “Lunch Money”

Just about a month after surprising fans with the release of the Kanye West produced single “Lunch Money,” Pusha T has shared the track’s official music video.

Directed by Emil Nava, the video for “Lunch Money” adds a fun twist on the found footage genre with shots described as “surveillance footage” obtained from a sting operation. What follows is a collection of performance shots, dance battles, money, and fast cars, all while Pusha does his best to smile while simultaneously looking tough for the camera(s). You can view the video, in full, below:…

Kanye West Pitches “Immersive” Feature Film to Sony

Over the last few days, Sony Pictures Entertainment has been scrambling. After the company was hacked and had a huge slew of information and emails leaked to the public, dozens of surprises have been revealed too early. A Destiny’s Child biopic may be on the way. A brand new Spiderman reboot could pop up. Best of all, Kanye West is pretty eager to get his hands dirty with film work.

The Chicago rapper is working on a feature length film involving “both cinematic and technological innovation,” and it’s yet to be confirmed if it’s the same Yeezus concert film …

Kanye West is Playing a Free Show in Times Square Tonight

A free Kanye West show seems too good to be true. Tonight, however, is the real deal. Kanye West will perform in New York City’s Times Square at 7:30PM as a part of the World AIDS Day Concert.

U2 are throwing a surprise World AIDS Day (RED) performance in the city, but since Bono’s bike accident on November 16 has left him unable to perform, they asked some friends to step in. Those friends just happen to be Kanye West and Carrie Underwood. U2 will still perform, taking on the moniker U2 Minus 1 with help from Bruce Springsteen and …

James Blake’s New Album Will Drop in “About Five Months,” May Feature Kanye West

James Blake isn’t one to take a break. While the UK crooner and electronic producer’s last album, Overgrown, came out in 2012, he’s been hard at work since, touring the globe, DJing sets, and dropping new songs “200 Press” and “Building It Still.” Now, the singer-songwriter has announced his next album is on the way.

In an interview with the Miami New Times (via CoS), Blake said that the new album is “seventy percent done” and should drop in “about five months.” For those of you following his mini updates, the Kanye West rumors are …

Pusha T Surprises Fans With The Release Of “Lunch Money”

Oh shit. The rest of hip-hop might as well take the day off because Pusha T and Kanye West just delivered a surprise track that is going to have people talking until long after the sun goes down.

Featuring a beat that makes “Numbers On The Board” sound like child’s play, “Lunch Money” finds King Push going in over a production that could have only been conceived by Yeezus himself. It sounds like a sci-fi flick meets an underground drug ring, and the lyrics serve as a strong reminder why Pusha T is the hottest emcee in music today. You …

Kanye West Reworks Lorde’s “Yellow Flicker Beat” For ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One’ Soundtrack

While the chances of Kayne West dropping a new record in 2014 are looking grim, we’ve been blessed with a couple of great remixes from Yeezy in the past few months. The latest addition to his creative body of work is a re-tooling of Lorde’s contribution to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One soundtrack.

Kanye shows his powerful production skills in a toned-down and ambient rendition of the New Zealand singer’s latest single. While I was hoping for a verse, it’s clear that it wouldn’t have been a necessary addition – the track serves as a reminder that Kanye’s production …

Future Hit: Theophilus London Featuring Kanye West – “Can’t Stop”

A track where Kanye raps like the days before Yeezus? Yes please.

Trinidadian-born Brooklyn rapper Theophilus London is set to release his Sophomore album next week, and earlier today an advance stream of the record found its way online. The album was executive produced by Kanye West, but what made us perk up was the fact Yeezus also contributes a new verse to the album on a laid back track titled “Can’t Stop.” We spun the album three or four times before we realized we hadn’t posted it yet, so here we are ready to share the party with …
