Yes, many of us bow at the feet of Conor Oberst in reverence of his various musical projects and his formative contributions to that Saddle Creek sound. Fortunately, it looks like Oberst isn’t above taking a few cues from one of the bands that he influenced.

Oberst recently resurrected his rocking and rollicking side-project Desaparecidos in order to put out a few incendiary singles and, subsequently, tour in support of said singles. Desaparecidos Announces East Coast Tour, Joyce Manor to Support

Folky band Desaparecidos announced a run of East Coast dates today, with support from punks Joyce Manor. Desaparecidos will be hitting up nine different cities around the East Coast, and it’s sure to be a really fun tour in some mid-range sized venues. For those who don’t know, Desaparecidos is another band Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes is a part of, so you can bet that it will be a really interesting live show to check out.

WATCH: Joyce Manor – “House Warning Party” (Acoustic)

The Nervous Energies Sessions rarely disappoint, and this one is no different. California punk group Joyce Manor has done one now, and it is their first ever acoustic performance. Barry sings and plays acoustic guitar all by his lonesome, performing their song “House Warning Party” with a fog machine running wild in the background. We enjoyed their last record, and this performance is an upbeat, energetic but quiet show of what a band can do for an acoustic show when they are not an acoustic band.

Joyce Manor to Tour Europe

California punk group Joyce Manor recently announced their own European tour for this fall, and it’s going to be a fun one. Bands Apologies, I Have None and Bangers will be joining Joyce on the September and October run, so make sure you check them out before you hit up one of these shows. Joyce Manor is currently supporting their new record Of All The Things I Will Soon Grow Tired.

Joyce Manor Announce West Coast Tour Dates

Joyce Manor have released their latest round of West Coast touring dates for May-June and can be viewed here on UTG! These dates will find tons of different support from bands including Screaming Females, Hot Water Music, Touche Amore, and many more.

This tour will start off in Los Angeles on May 25 and end in Flagstaff on June 6 so be sure to get out to a show a support these guys.

California punk outfit Joyce Manor have announced a spring tour with label mates Andrew Jackson Jihad. The two will hit the road starting April 9 and tour a large part of the US along with a few Canadian dates as well.

Joyce Manor Release New Song

California punk outfit Joyce Manor have released a brand new track entitled “Violent Inside”. The new track is off of the bands upcoming album Of All Things I Will Soon Grow Tired, out April 17 on Asian Man Records.

In addition to the new track, the band have also announced they will be hitting the road this spring. The band will be heading out for a 3 week US run with Andrew Jackson Jihad kicking off on April 9. Fans can check out the bands new song here and can view the bands tour dates past the jump.
