Michael Giegerich Joey Bada$$, the leader of Brooklyn hip-hop collective Pro Era, has dropped a new song called “95 Til Infinity.” The second single from the eighteen year old’s forthcoming mixtape, Summer Knights, finds Bada$$ going all in on a mellowed out Lee Bannon beat while displaying his uncanny ability to string together countless witty lines in ways few others can pull off.

April 11th, 2013 James Shotwell Hot 97′s Summer Jam concert is one of the most highly-anticipated urban radio events of the Summer. The lineup for the main stage of this year’s event is being held under tight wraps, but early this morning the lineup for the Village Stage found its way online.

April 7th, 2013 Grant Trimboli MTVU has unveiled another posthumously released visual from Pro Era general Capital STEEZ called “Apex.”
This all-too-short visual clip captures the underground likeness of the group’s closing track off of AmeriKKKan Korruption Reloaded. The track was produced by Kirk Knight and runs only a minute and a half in length.
Capital STEEZ first captured the attention of music fans when he appeared alongside Joey Bada$$ in the video for “Survival Tactics” off Joey’s breakout mixtape 1999. Rest in power, STEEZ.

March 6th, 2013 Grant Trimboli Harlem native Joey Bada$$ is ready to unveil the animated visuals for his song “Unorthodox” and paints a colorful picture.
The DJ Premier-produced track was released as a free single from Green Label Sound and provides us with a unique looks into Joey’s style. He paints pictures with his lyrics and we feel like can identify through the graphics. It does not get much better than this.

Joey Bada$$, the most visible and de facto leader of the New York City based hip-hop collective, just released the cover art to Pro Era’s upcoming mixtape PEEP: the aPROcalypse through his Instagram, one day ahead of its release.
PEEP will feature contributions from each member of the Pro Era family, including Captain STEEZ, Dessy Hinds, Nyck Caution, CJ Fly, Kirk Knight, Chuck Strangers, and of course Bada$$ himself.
