STREAM: Daft Punk’s new album, ‘Random Access Memories’

If the video trailer teasing the first track off the new Daft Punk album, Random Access Memories, wasn’t enough ear candy for one day, the public can now stream the entire album for free via iTunes.

The robot duo has been doing an excellent job of teasing the album up to this point in time. From 30-second Saturday Night Live commercials, to having the public debate whether or not the full version of, “Get Lucky,” was legitimate, the wait is finally over.

Stream Phoenix’s New Album, ‘Bankrupt!’

One week before its official release date, Phoenix has teamed up with iTunes and are currently streaming their new album, Bankrupt! The long-awaited album is the band’s first since their highly acclaimed 2009 release, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.

The typical Phoenix fan will notice a slight change in musical direction, as the band heavily leans on synthesizers to carry a lot of the work load on this album. While experimentation with synthesizers isn’t exactly something new to Phoenix’s repertoire, they still manage to deliver those classic indie-pop melodies we’re accustom to hearing from lead singer, Thomas Mars.

Other than the Justin Timberlake single I downloaded with my preorder yesterday afternoon, this Monday has been a typical sucky Monday. It’s raining, schoolwork is piling back up, and I’ve got the post-spring break sleepies.

The evening was looking to be a lot of work and little play for this blogger, but that’s changed thanks to the aforementioned pop star. The 20/20 Experience is streaming now on iTunes.
