From Atlantis Call It Quits

After two years together, From Atlantis have broken up.

The New England band that was signed to InVogue Records apparently made the decision to dismantle at the end of April. You can read their statement below.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported From Atlantis for the last few years and anyone else has helped us get to where we are today. Recently the band has come to the agreement to part ways and no longer continue forward with From Atlantis. It was a neutral understanding on the reasons for our departure. We would really like the thank

Before Their Eyes Are Calling It Quits

In what seems like a common trend these days, another band is throwing in the towel.  It looks as if Before Their Eyes will be calling it quits in 2013.  The band recently took to their Facebook account to post this somewhat cryptic message:

“The Finale. Coming soon. We love you all. 2006-2013, the best years of our lives. THANK YOU.”

The band just recently released Redemption on March 26, 2012.  Since this message says 2013, one can hope that possibly The Finale could be a final release from the band or a farewell tour.  Either way, stay tuned to …

Belle Histoire‘s new record, Dreamers, is out tomorrow. I’m pretty excited about that.

By clicking through below, you’ll be able to listen to a brand new song from tomorrow’s release called “We’ll Never Learn.” It’s super soft and utterly dreamy. I’m hooked.

Cincinnati’s very own Belle Histoire are only 5 short days away from releasing their debut full length record, Dreamers. To keep anticipation and excitement high, the band has been releasing new songs and studio updates.

Belle Histoire has proved to be a rising force that is looking to take over with this new record. From what we’ve heard so far, I think their goals are easily attainable. InVogue Records scored big on this one.

That’s Outrageous Release Lyric Video For “Obliviate”

Recent InVogue Records signees That’s Outrageous have partnered up with the good people over at Alternative Press to premiere their lyric video for “Obliviate.”

This song fails to impress our staff, once again, and just shows that the group’s sound has not progressed since the debut full-length release. They are still adding in that awkward phaser sound after every 20-second break.

If you are into this style of bounce-core then head over to AP to watch and listen to “Obliviate.” We will still be here sitting and shaking our heads in disappointment.
